Since I booked the day before, the only ferry I could take was the 13:10 one, and I wish I had taken an earlier one so I could enjoy it to the fullest! Even if I spent a whole day wandering around, there's still so much to see. The weather and scenery were amazing. I recommend doing some research and spending the whole day or even staying overnight to enjoy it to the fullest.

I bought the business class tickets, but it is only special in the waiting area. When the time is near they let us line up in front of other passengers. When the gate opens people will run to the other waiting door, we have to rush for a seat as others do. It's a small island, you get on from one jetty and walk to another jetty to go back. There's a baggy car service, but if you buy the tickets for the whole journey, then you can only see the seaside and miss many other inner sides of the island.

I pre-purchased a package that included a Gulangyu ferry (Dongdu Ferry Terminal > Sanqiu Ten Ferry Terminal) and Gulangbing ice cream! Booking through Trip.com was convenient~ Foreigners must first go up to the ticket booth on the 3rd floor to present their passport and receive a physical ticket. Be sure to keep the QR code on your physical ticket handy, as it will be scanned upon boarding both round-trip flights!! Next, go down to the 2nd floor and pass through the gate to the ferry boarding area. Once inside, there's a Starbucks on your left, and next to it is a small shop with a black sign. Inside that shop is an ice cream freezer. Just present the QR code for your ice cream exchange to the staff (take a screenshot from your Trip.com app or email after purchasing) and receive your ice cream. The ice cream flavors are vanilla, strawberry, and sea salt. I chose vanilla, and it was delicious!

Xiamen University is indeed worthy of its reputation. It is not an exaggeration to call it the most beautiful university in China. As soon as I entered the campus, I was attracted by the strong academic atmosphere and beautiful environment. The architectural style of red tiles and white walls is unique, with both Nanyang style and modern design. Strolling along the Furong Lake, watching the lake reflecting the buildings and green trees in the distance, it is particularly poetic. I also visited the famous Shangxian Field and Jiannan Auditorium to feel the historical heritage of this century-old institution. The whole campus is full of greenery and the air is fresh. It is a good place for walking, taking pictures, and settling down.

It really lives up to its reputation. It is the most beautiful university with historical sites in China. The beautiful architecture inside is really unforgettable. It is like a paradise hidden in the campus. Furong Lake and Furong Tunnel are really beautiful. The campus is surrounded by mountains and faces the sea. The campus scenery is breathtaking. It is really a blessing to study here.

After researching online, I decided to stay at the Pan Pacific Hotel, and it definitely didn't disappoint. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted with a warm atmosphere. The hotel was exceptionally clean, the room was spacious, and the view was fantastic. After a leisurely breakfast, it was only a 10-minute walk to the Dongdu Ferry Terminal. Plus, having a subway station right downstairs made all my subsequent travels incredibly convenient. Honestly, the hotel's Chinese restaurant was even better than many outside. I thought their Ginger Duck (Jiang Mu Ya) tasted more authentic than what I found elsewhere. The crispy squab and all the fried rice options were also incredibly tasty. To top it off, they offer an all-you-can-eat buffet for just 118 RMB per person, which is fantastic value, especially considering even a simple bowl of noodles in Xiamen can cost 30 RMB. Moreover, the hotel bed was exceptionally comfortable. As someone who often struggles with sleep, my sleep quality literally doubled. In short, the Pan Pacific Hotel greatly enhanced my overall travel experience. It was absolutely fantastic! I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Xiamen.

The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of BinBei. Great restaurants and night life around. Very convenient location. The staff was very friendly and spoke very good English. Check in and out was easy. The only negative point of the experience was the room itself. We reserved as Superior King room, for 514元 (714元 with breakfast for two). The King Room only had a Queen bed. The wallpaper was peeling, the carpets felt old and a little dirty. And the electrical outlets were VERY inconvenient. Only one outlet on the whole bedside wall and it was pretty far away from the bed. So I gave that one to my girlfriend for her phone and I had to plug my phone in on the other side of the room on the desk. I know it’s an old hotel but it’s time to update and renovate the rooms. For the price we paid, the room felt like a bit of a disappointment. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and the hotel itself is beautiful and in a great location. Just the room left a little to be desired. It was nice to experience such an iconic Xiamen institution but for us, in the future, we’ll stay somewhere else.

I initially thought the hotel would be quite old and didn't have high expectations, but my three-day stay completely changed my mind. The security guard in the parking lot left a lasting impression on me. After guiding us to a parking spot for our car rented from Ctrip, he enthusiastically shared information about nearby attractions and local delicacies in Xiamen (without it affecting his work). The room itself was decent, and the view was great.

As a tourist from Singapore visiting Xiamen, my stay at the Hampton by Hilton Xiamen City Plaza was absolutely fantastic! First and foremost, I have to give a huge shout-out to the hotel's front desk service! Not only were the ladies at check-in warm and attentive, but what impressed me even more was their efficiency in issuing electronic invoices after check-out. I had already returned to Singapore when I realized I needed an invoice, and with just a phone call, the front desk swiftly and patiently helped me sort everything out. I received a clear electronic invoice via email. This kind of cross-border after-sales service truly made me feel incredibly cared for and valued, completely easing any worries I had. The hotel itself boasts an excellent location, making travel convenient. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable, allowing me to get ample rest during my trip. The breakfast selection was also rich and varied, a great way to start the day. All in all, from the facilities to the service, from check-in to post-departure support, this experience exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it to all friends visiting Xiamen, especially business travelers—you won't have to worry about invoice issues at all! If I visit Xiamen again, I will definitely choose this hotel!

First off, this isn't about the staff; their work was perfectly fine, their attitudes and everything were great. The environment was impeccable, and the location was excellent, with Gulangyu Island directly across from our sea-view room. If it hadn't been for the room upgrade, I probably wouldn't have found any issues with this stay. I originally booked a Deluxe Sea View Room, but the front desk said it was fully booked. The only remaining room was directly facing the elevator. To get away from the elevator, an Executive Room was the only option, so I chose to upgrade. The Executive Room came with many extra perks (see picture), but seriously, are these so-called 'services' really designed with customer needs in mind? Honestly, if you didn't offer these services, I wouldn't even think about it. But if you're going to offer them, be generous and don't be so stingy. You offer an 80-yuan laundry voucher that can't be stacked, and you can only use 80 yuan per day. For two people, that's not even enough to wash two t-shirts. If a guest only stays for one night, they can't even enjoy this service because clothes have to be dropped off before 8 AM (before check-in) and aren't ready until 6 PM the next evening (check-out is at 12 PM). So, the housekeeping staff directly refused to take our dirty laundry. Free two-hour meeting room, free printing, free phone calls, free computer use—wow! So many freebies!!! Seriously, who uses these nowadays? Then there's the 50-yuan hotel car voucher. A single ride starts at 260 yuan, even if you're going less than 5 km, and it's only for destinations within the island. Isn't giving out this 50-yuan voucher just annoying? Oh, and there's a 128-yuan massage voucher, for massages that start at 400 yuan. Either you generously offer a proper, genuinely useful free service that everyone would use, like a free airport transfer, a free laundry service, or a free massage, etc., or just don't offer anything at all. People who can afford executive floors aren't looking for these petty discounts. But it's really quite irritating to list so many things that 99% of people won't use. And your executive lounge – hardly anyone goes up there anyway. The juices are all concentrated; they're not even willing to offer freshly squeezed. They claim it's available 'all day'. When checking out, I thought since it was a weekend and occupancy was high, I didn't want to inconvenience subsequent guests. Even though I could have extended my check-out, I decided not to, and just planned to go to the executive lounge to wait for my high-speed train for about an hour after regular check-out. I was refused. There's nothing in the executive lounge during the day anyway, just a few bottles of water. I wasn't some regular floor guest trying to sneak in; why couldn't I even sit in the executive lounge for a bit???? So then I decided to just extend my check-out, and they reluctantly granted it, citing high occupancy. I was speechless. I stayed for three nights and only went to the 26th floor once. I really don't understand who benefits from all these 'rules' and 'freebies' you've set up. For guests planning to travel here, setting aside these 'additional services' of the executive floor, everything else is pretty good. If you book an executive floor, remember to check in before 6 PM on the first day, and when checking out, strongly insist on a late check-out until 2 PM! Oh, and if you order takeout, it's best to have the delivery rider wait for you in the lobby and pick it up yourself. Otherwise, they won't be allowed into the lobby and will put your food in a locker, which then requires you to register, log in, enter a password, personal information, and a bunch of other messy stuff first. Their robots only deliver the hotel's own food.

My stay here exceeded my expectations from when I booked! The lobby immediately gave off an artistic vibe, and the paintings and decor in the hallways were also very stylish. The bedding in the room was excellent and so soft; I woke up feeling completely refreshed. The gym had a full range of equipment. It's less than a 25-minute drive to the Gulangyu ferry terminal, and they even offer free airport shuttle service. I also managed to explore the back garden, and the lush greenery was incredibly soothing.

This vacation at the Xiamen Hacang Roxen Seaview Hualuxe Hotel completely won me over! The sea view from the room was simply breathtaking. The vast, endless ocean stretched out before me, its azure waters shimmering, meeting the sky in the far distance. This incredible scenery alone made the room price entirely worthwhile. The hotel is a bit old, and the facilities feel a bit dated compared to newly renovated ones. However, the location is excellent. I'd especially like to commend their service. As soon as I arrived at the hotel entrance, a security guard helped with my luggage, and the front desk staff were very friendly. Another highlight is that you can check in after 8 AM. Choosing this hotel for our Xiamen trip was truly an excellent decision. Its location is absolutely perfect, serving as an ideal starting point for exploring the city's highlights. Whether it was taking a ferry from the bustling ferry terminal to Gulangyu Island, strolling along the Nanyang-style Zhongshan Road in search of local delicacies, or visiting the lush Botanical Garden, everything was conveniently and quickly accessible, saving us a lot of precious travel time. The hotel service was another major highlight of our trip, truly embodying the phrase 'a home away from home'. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, the staff greeted us with genuine smiles and a warm, friendly demeanor. Upon seeing us with luggage, a concierge proactively came forward to enthusiastically and professionally assist with carrying it. This thoughtful attention to detail made us feel incredibly welcome. The weather was also on our side; during our days in Xiamen, we enjoyed almost consistently clear blue skies with fluffy white clouds. Bright sunshine during the day, and glittering lights at night. Looking out from our hotel room or nearby elevated spots, Xiamen's night view was stunningly beautiful, adding a romantic touch to our journey. It was stunning, and I even saw the sunrise in the morning! We went for a swim in the pool around 3 PM, and then enjoyed the hot springs in the evening, which were very comfortable. After the hot springs, you can even do a steam bath. In the evening, there's a complimentary late-night noodle supper, which tasted great. [Super considerate parent-child experience] Bring a 4-year-old baby to stay in Xiamen Shengzhixiang, and you will be impressed by the details from the beginning! The front desk lady took the initiative to upgrade the superior twin room to a deluxe twin room (1.8m+1.5m combination bed type), and the housing department also installed the bed guard in advance, which is super safe to bring the baby to sleep~ The room is equipped with tea sets, bathrobes, and disinfected slippers. More considerately prepared cartoon bathrobes and toothbrushes for children, and the welcome fruit plate also made us feel at home instantly. The guest room is cleaned every day, and even the toys that the baby messed up will be helped to be sorted out. The hotel's children's paddling pool is kept at a constant temperature all day, and different temperatures of hot springs are set up indoors and outdoors. It is super comfortable to play in the open-air pool and watch the clouds on sunny days, and soak in the warm hot springs indoors on rainy days! The ground in the children's play area is so clean that you don't have to worry about running barefoot, and the children don't want to come out at all! The hot spring area is very private, the pool water is clear, and the whole family is super relaxed. The surprise is that the breakfast is also super rich, with freshly cooked noodles, egg tarts, muffins, fruit yogurt and everything in between. The baby brought his own plate and chose a full table. From the room upgrade to the hot spring design, from the children's supplies to the cleaning details, every link is carefully considered. I have already made an appointment to bring other family members to come together next time. This treasure family hotel is definitely worth visiting!

The overhead shower seemed to be a bit broken, the water flow was uneven and I didn't know how to switch it back to a shower. The water flow from the hot tub was slow and had to be drained in advance. The hot tub was quite large and had plenty of room for two adult women to soak in (after all, the outdoor pool was so large that more than two people could soak in it). The breakfast was a fixed set meal delivered to the room and it tasted pretty good.

I rarely leave reviews, but this stay exceeded my expectations so much that I simply had to write a positive one. Upon arriving at the parking lot by car, the staff member at the front desk was incredibly welcoming. He immediately came to help with our luggage and even upgraded our room. Waking up to the sunrise in the morning was a fantastic experience, making up for all the sunrises I'd missed before. He then enthusiastically introduced all the available services. We also received coffee vouchers, tickets for the kids' play area, and a fruit platter. His service was truly exceptional, and I genuinely hope the owner recognizes his efforts! The guesthouse also boasts an excellent location, being incredibly close to the beach. The ambiance is wonderful, and the common areas were a delightful surprise, where lazy cats lounged around. Breakfast was delicious, and the cafe upstairs offered a fantastic view. My only regret is that we could only stay for one day. My husband and I both agreed that on our next trip to Xiamen, we absolutely *must* stay here again, haha! Traveling with kids meant I didn't get many chances to take photos, but I absolutely had to come and praise this place. Wishing them great success! I highly recommend everyone to stay here.

My stay at Conrad Xiamen was elevated far beyond expectations, thanks to the professional service of our butler, Isabella. From the moment we stepped into the hotel lobby, her presence was like an invisible thread, weaving meticulous details into a seamless tapestry of luxurious memories. **Meticulous Personalized Service** Isabella proactively contacted us before check-in, diligently inquiring about our preferences and needs. She ensured our sea-view executive room had the best ocean vista and was perfectly arranged beforehand. The handwritten welcome card, the Min Nan specialty teas and snacks prepared according to our taste, and the daily refreshed mini-bar (replenished with local drinks) all spoke volumes of her dedication. She even noticed my husband's lactose intolerance, discreetly replacing his evening dessert with a fresh fruit platter – a level of care that went beyond standard protocol and was truly heartwarming. **Problem Solving and Invisible Guardian** When unexpected rain occurred during our trip, Isabella proactively arranged for a hotel vehicle pick-up, preparing dry towels and ginger tea at the car door. Learning of our plans to visit Gulangyu Island, she not only recommended off-peak ferry routes but also thoughtfully provided portable rain gear and a marked map. Her service was like an elegant 'invisible ballet' – always appearing subtly when needed, yet never intruding on our private space. **Enhancement to the Hotel as a Whole** Conrad's facilities themselves are impeccable: the panoramic views of Ludao (Egret Island) from the 38th-floor sky lobby, the premium L'Occitane amenities, and the smart climate control system are all top-tier. However, Isabella's service infused warmth into these impressive but impersonal facilities. She was well-versed in each hotel restaurant's specialties, and her recommendation for the 'Lùchéng Xuān' Chinese restaurant's Black Pearl set menu was astounding. She could also precisely schedule spa appointments to avoid queues. Her presence elevated the hotel from merely 'high-end facilities' to a 'vibrant, living experience'. **Moments of感動 (Touching Moments) that Exceeded Expectations** On the day of check-out, Isabella learned of our flight delay and proactively extended our check-out time. She also prepared a gift box of Xiamen traditional pastries as travel snacks. Even more surprisingly, she compiled photos of the window sea views taken during our stay (noticing my frequent WeChat Moments posts), creating an electronic album and sending it to us. This 'memory preservation' that transcended service boundaries has become the most cherished digital souvenir of our trip. If Conrad's iconic twin-sail architecture is Xiamen's city cover, Isabella is undoubtedly the most captivating chapter within its pages. She redefined the meaning of a 'butler': not merely a problem-solver, but a co-creator of our journey. This human-centric luxury, far more than marble and gold leaf, is what truly deserves to be remembered.

I drove 3000 kilometers from Beijing, passing through 5 provincial capitals, to Xiamen. I booked a 4-day stay at the Hotel Indigo Xiamen Harbour through Trip.com, and my experience was fantastic. The location, parking, and room facilities perfectly matched my criteria for choosing a hotel. The location and room views at Indigo were unexpectedly perfect; Gulangyu Island was fully visible right from my window. It's also super convenient for foodies, as all the major food streets like Zhongshan Road, Datong Road, Kaiyuan Road, and the Eighth Market are basically within a 500-meter radius. The entrance to the underground parking garage is right in front of the lobby, and there's ample parking, which is very friendly for self-driving tourists (I always ask if hotels have underground parking for safety and reliability before booking). The room was spacious, featuring the largest walk-in closet I've seen in a hotel of this caliber, and the smart toilet was a personal preference of mine. What truly stood out was the service. While I was still in Zhangzhou, the hotel called to check in. My dedicated butler, COCO, was incredibly thoughtful, providing detailed recommendations for dining, entertainment, and sightseeing. She spoke a bit fast, so she also sent us a detailed travel guide and locations to ensure we didn't miss anything. She also checked in with us constantly during our outings. We tried several restaurants COCO recommended – Xiao Cheng Xi, 141 Dai Pai Dong, and Hao Kou Wei Jian Xie – and they were all excellent, no duds at all! 👍 There was also a small incident where I cut my finger, and the hotel immediately sent over band-aids and iodine. COCO also checked in on me thoughtfully. It really feels like the hotel has a well-integrated and organic management system that promptly addresses and responds to guest needs. Excellent! 👍 I'll definitely recommend Hotel Indigo Xiamen Harbour to friends visiting Xiamen.

The location is super convenient, right next to MixC World, with a direct passage from the hotel. It's also very close to Xiamen Station. I really like the decor style, and the breakfast offers a great variety of Xiamen local snacks – plus, the orange juice is freshly squeezed! The most important thing, however, is how incredibly thoughtful and attentive the hotel staff are! The service is absolutely fantastic; I truly feel like this hotel pays attention to every single detail. Everything is so meticulously handled! I would honestly come back to Andaz just for the service alone! The front desk manager surprised me with so many local tips and even a bottle of red wine – I was truly touched!!

Overall nice view relaxing days at the Beach. Breakfast is also possible to eat outside on the terrace, which is very nice with direct ocean view. Breakfat overall very good. Got Room-Upgrade for free at Check-In Rooms are very nice and quiet. What i don`t like is that guests from other Hotel (half price room rate) are allowed to use the Swimming-Pool Facilities at Renaissance-Hotel. This is just not ok and that why there are a lot of families from the other Hotel with several Kids. Very noisy during day-time at the Poo. Also there are only 14 pool lounger available, which is just not enough for two hotels which are using the pool

Attending a concert in Xiamen, I chose the Wyndham for its proximity to the Olympic Sports Center. A taxi ride was about 30 yuan, but to my pleasant surprise, the hotel offered a shuttle service! This saved me the awkwardness of battling crowds for a taxi after the concert. The hotel is a bit older, but the facilities are well-maintained, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable. It's a small pity I didn't get to experience the beautiful pool. A huge thanks to Kelly at the front desk for upgrading me to a room with a fantastic view – I had a panoramic vista of Wuyuan Bay! 🥹

The sea view rooms all feature oversized, floor-to-ceiling windows, offering breathtaking views of either the ocean or the bay. Whether it's enjoying the clear blue skies and sea during the day or the golden hues of the sunset in the evening, it's incredibly therapeutic. Outside the floor-to-ceiling windows, the unobstructed azure sea stretches out, with the Xinglin Bridge arching gracefully like a rainbow across the waves. Waking up to the first rays of sunshine in the morning, enjoying a stunning sunset from the comfort of your room in the evening, and seeing the twinkling lights on the bridge at night – this sea view alone makes the room worth every penny. The rooms are spacious and tidy, with a generous layout. Cleanliness is consistently highly praised, and the bedding is comfortable, ensuring a high-quality night's sleep. The rooms are well-equipped, with some even featuring bathtubs, allowing you to soak while admiring the beautiful views outside. The breakfast is abundant, a frequently praised aspect by guests, offering a rich variety of both Chinese and Western options. There are local specialties as well as pastries and bread, all of good quality. We truly felt valued. Merry's pre-check-in inquiries made us feel that the hotel's service started not when we stepped into the lobby, but from the moment we connected with her. Top notch service by Langham’s Place Guest relation officer , Ms Pearl. We were warmly greeted by her once we checked in and she went the extra mile to prepare the birthday celebration for my spouse. Upon asking, she recommended several places to dine around the hotel vicinity. When I had a parcel delivered to me, she made sure that I received it too. I’ve met many diligent GROs and concierge in the hotel industry , but none as thoughtful as her. The room is clean and spacious, and the pool is decent. The steam room and sauna looks interesting but I did not try. The breakfast is a wide spread but it’s pretty much the same thing daily. The hotel is next to a mall with many eateries nearby.

Specifically flew to Xiamen for Wang Leehom's concert, the ”best place.” Choosing to stay at the Hyatt Regency Wuyuan Bay was an incredibly wise decision! The hotel thoughtfully arranged a complimentary shuttle bus service between the hotel and the Olympic Sports Center concert venue. The shuttle could drive directly into the venue, saving us the hassle of waiting for taxis. It was incredibly convenient! On both the way there and back, Leehom's songs were playing on a loop in the bus, and free water was provided when we boarded after the concert. In the evening, the room also received complimentary late-night snacks, accompanied by a handwritten card, showing immense sincerity and providing great emotional value! A perfect stay! Guangzhou Jianguo Hotel's attention to detail and delicious food were a delightful surprise. My stay at Guangzhou Jianguo Hotel, from stepping into the lobby to checking out, was filled with thoughtful service every second – an absolutely amazing experience. First off, a big shout-out to Ms. Xu Shuyue at the front desk! The moment I walked in, she greeted me with a warm smile and a very friendly tone, making me feel instantly at ease. She processed my check-in efficiently and proactively asked if we had any special requests, kindly arranging a room with a view for us. She not only provided detailed information about nearby parking and breakfast times but also went the extra mile to remind us about minor details like, “If you want to adjust the air conditioning temperature in your room, just give us a call.” This level of thoughtfulness truly warmed my heart. Following Ms. Xu Shuyue's recommendation, we tried the Cantonese restaurant on the fourth floor, and it certainly didn't disappoint! The restaurant's ambiance was exceptionally elegant, with soft lighting and gentle music, making it very relaxing to sit down. The dishes were both visually appealing and delicious – each one felt like a meticulously crafted work of art. The signature dishes were incredibly smooth and delicate, and the freshness of the ingredients was evident with every bite. Breakfast was equally impressive, with a wide selection of both Chinese and Western dishes. Whether you prefer sweet or savory, you'll find something you like. Both the professionalism of the service and the quality of the dining far exceeded expectations. A nostalgic trip spanning 40 years, with one night each at the White Swan Hotel and Garden Hotel. On the 24th floor, the south-facing view is expansive, and you can even glimpse the Canton Tower in the distance. They provide 6 bottles of Zhaoding mountain spring water in the room, and you can pick up more at the elevator on each floor – a big plus! The only downside was the quality of the dinner buffet on the 30th floor, which wasn't great, but the breakfast the next day, in the same location, was delicious! Between the two hotels, I'd recommend the White Swan Hotel!

For a weekend stress-buster, nothing beats a stay at the Sofitel Guangzhou in Tianhe District! Choosing a hotel with an executive lounge, a pool, and great views, without a packed itinerary, is so therapeutic. ❤️ It was a really nice experience with my family. The mural in the lobby is perfect for photos. The lobby service was also excellent; Mia from guest relations warmly welcomed us and even suggested we buy mooncakes. I got a box of 'Jin Yue' which was great and reasonably priced. The hotel staff were very thoughtful. Since we arrived too early and our room wasn't ready, Mia kindly brought us bottled water while we waited in the lobby and patiently answered all our questions! Really good. This time, I booked a room at the Sofitel Guangzhou. After packing light luggage, we headed out around noon. Staying in a different commercial area within the same city, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Canton Tower and the bustling city below, felt both convenient and refreshing. Instant relaxation!

The Garden Hotel was the biggest surprise of our family trip to Guangzhou! The magnificent and opulent lobby was truly impressive. Our Lingnan Gold Card got us a free upgrade to a suite, which also included breakfast. The staff were courteous and attentive, making us feel right at home. We also enjoyed the historic museum tour with its many activities. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The bedding was so comfortable that I even ordered the same bathrobe from the hotel. During the Mid-Autumn Festival, the hotel organized many engaging activities for both adults and children, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. I'm so glad we switched to The Garden Hotel!

This classic Holiday Inn, part of the InterContinental Hotels Group, is conveniently located in the heart of Guangzhou's Yuexiu District, making getting around very easy. Although the hotel has been open for a while, it's very well-maintained and clean; I didn't find any of the issues mentioned in previous reviews. The service, in particular, was incredibly thoughtful and professional. My child accidentally broke a glass, and when I proactively told the front desk, a male front desk manager immediately asked if anyone was injured – big thumbs up to him! 👍👍 Also, a staff member named Pretty was very friendly.

Experiencing a typhoon during my stay was certainly unique. Online reviews mentioned the hotel being a bit old, but I actually found it to be quite well-maintained, perhaps due to a recent renovation. When looking for a room with a tower view in this area, I chose this hotel because it not only offers views of the Canton Tower but also the riverside promenade. The room design is quite simple, featuring both a desk and a long sofa, making it suitable for both leisure and business travelers. Considering the price point, one shouldn't expect overly refined service, but it definitely offers good value for money. The breakfast spread was quite extensive, and the quality was what you'd expect from a five-star hotel. It was quite busy during my stay. During this National Day holiday, I stayed at two Hyatt hotels in two different cities, and both had these clever partitions separating the treadmills in the gym. However, the equipment selection was pretty standard, and surprisingly, I even encountered a queue for the gym machines on a weekday afternoon. Overall, it's a good value-for-money option in that area. You might pay two or three times more at nearby hotels and not necessarily receive two or three times better service.

Taking advantage of the National Day holiday, we brought our child to Guangzhou and stayed at the Mandarin Oriental, which significantly enhanced our trip! Right from check-in, we experienced the hotel's thoughtful and attentive service. We had read some reviews beforehand and were prepared for a wait, but the check-in process was incredibly smooth. The bellboy at the entrance proactively helped us with our luggage, and we were offered tea while waiting. Seeing we had a child, they even brought us bottled water. Upon entering the room, we were pleasantly surprised and touched to find that the hotel had already prepared children's slippers and toiletries for us. We were also very satisfied with the hotel's room service. The cleaning staff kept our room spotless, even neatly folding clothes we had left casually and organizing small items on the table. The Chinese breakfast section offered fresh, high-quality ingredients and a good variety of dishes. All the staff we encountered at the hotel were very friendly. We were also lucky with the weather, and our child went to the pool almost every day of our stay. Although the outdoor pool wasn't large, the water was remarkably clean, which is quite rare. Finally, when we were waiting for our car to leave, a staff member stayed with us, chatting, which was very heartwarming. This experience was perfect, and we thank the Mandarin Oriental for creating wonderful memories for our family of three in Guangzhou ❤️

Choosing Muliangzhuang Hotel in Huadu for this vacation was absolutely the right decision – it definitely deserves five stars! The moment I stepped into the hotel, the strong Southeast Asian vibe instantly caught my eye. The lobby was surrounded by lush greenery, with stone paths underfoot and bamboo woven lamps overhead. It felt just like being on an overseas holiday, instantly putting me at ease. During check-in, the staff were warm and professional. They quickly got everything sorted for me and thoughtfully introduced the hotel's facilities and activities. My appreciation for the hotel instantly shot up. My lake view room was absolutely fantastic! The room was spacious and bright, and the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offered an unobstructed view of the picturesque lake and mountains outside, like a natural painting. The huge, soft bed ensured I had a great night's sleep. The bathroom design was also very thoughtful, with a separate wet and dry area, and an extra-large bathtub. After a tiring day, a soak in the tub melted all my fatigue away. The hotel's amenities were also very extensive. The outdoor pool was crystal clear and beautifully designed, with sun loungers and parasols nearby. It was incredibly relaxing to sunbathe and swim there. The Muliang Qingquan Hot Spring is also a must-visit, offering several unique hot spring pools. After a soak, my skin felt noticeably better. For families with children, the outdoor kids' play area and indoor kids' club are a paradise. With a wide variety of play facilities, children can have endless fun. The dining experience was also excellent. The buffet breakfast at Sui Shi Fang Western Restaurant offered a rich variety of options, including Chinese hot congee and steamed buns, as well as Western bread and bacon. Everything tasted great, setting me up for an energetic day. The Cantonese cuisine at Yang Chinese Restaurant was truly exceptional. The ingredients were fresh, and the cooking brought out wonderful flavors, making every dish unforgettable. There are also many interesting places to visit around the hotel. European Town and Jiulong Lake Scenic Area are just a few minutes' drive away, perfect for sightseeing and photo opportunities. This stay was absolutely fantastic, and I'll definitely choose this place again for my next vacation!

Cleanliness: I went to the hot springs in the morning and saw the staff diligently cleaning the pools and refilling them, which made me feel very reassured about the hygiene. I hope they continue to maintain this standard. Environment: The supreme hillside villa offers excellent views, highly recommended. Honestly, the hotel isn't new, but I think the environment and room cleanliness are still quite good. My child absolutely loves it here and wants to come back again and again. Service: Most of the staff are friendly, which is quite good among the hot spring hotels in Conghua. The lobby manager is very modest and proper, has high emotional intelligence, and works very hard to enhance the guest experience. My two favorite hot spring hotels in Conghua are Talley and Imperial Springs. Talley has a much wider variety of hot springs.

This family-friendly hotel truly brought us a delightful and joyful experience during our stay with the kids. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were captivated by the whimsical, child-themed decor. The hotel features a dedicated kids' play area, complete with soft play equipment and slides; our child didn't want to leave once they got in. Moreover, the hotel regularly organizes parent-child activities such as DIY crafts and parent-child dance classes, allowing children to learn new skills and make new friends even while traveling. The room design was also very thoughtful. Not only did it include special toiletries for children, but also facilities like a children's bed and a small tent, making kids feel like they were in their own little world. The hotel staff's service attitude was exceptional; they were incredibly attentive to the children's needs, always warmly interacting with them whenever they met, which made the kids feel right at home. The hotel's dining experience is also worth mentioning. The restaurant offered a wide variety of nutritious and child-friendly meals. The dining environment was also perfect for families, with specially designed seating and tableware for children, adding to their enjoyment during meals. Overall, this family hotel excelled in every aspect—facilities, service, and dining—completely meeting our family's needs. My room was a luxurious suite with private bath tub (around hkd 3000 for two nights including breakfast). Hardware is definitely exceptional. However when it comes to service it is below standard: 1) front desk - service was poor without any greetings such as bell boy. Front desk officers were unhappy without any eye contact when they talk to you. No hospitality at all; 2) breakfast - the quality both food and service were not up to a 4 or 5 star service. Table was not clean, staffs were almost unfriendly, except one female manager and one staff, all staffs were rushing their task and unwelcoming. I believe the hotel management need to motivate their staff ,otherwise, people won’t come again. 3) Amnenties - room is a luxurious suite with private bath tub, massage chair, kitchen , dining table and queen bed. The tub was not very clean, with water splitting . Such a waste as their service was not meeting the standard of what it is expected to be a 5- star resort. (The environment, garden were nicely decorated indeed) The Hot Spring pool is well known but I have’s try so cannot comment. I won’t come to this resort again, if the service of the hotel haven’t improved. And I won’t recommend travelers with kids who is looking for a family friendly and good service resort. P.S.: Parking spaces were spacious and free

To be honest, I've traveled a lot and stayed in many hotels, including several times in Guangzhou and at various hotels there. This time, I originally planned to book a hotel near Xiguan Grand House. However, I unexpectedly stumbled upon a video of the Dongfang Hotel – China's first-ever star-rated hotel and the venue for the first Canton Fair. Considering I'd never experienced a hotel with that 90s Guangzhou vibe from TV, I decided to book the Dongfang Hotel. My overall experience this time was excellent, and my family was extremely satisfied. First, the hotel has an impressive presence. It boasts the grandeur, history, and luxury of a five-star hotel, coupled with modern, high-quality service, facilities, and rooms. The lobby staff were incredibly warm and meticulous in their service. Seeing I had a child, they clearly explained all the hotel activities, such as the pool and Mid-Autumn parent-child events. I could really feel the front desk staff's patience, attention to detail, professionalism, and enthusiasm. Before booking, I requested a late check-out on Ctrip, and the hotel proactively offered it during check-in, which made me feel valued. All the staff I encountered at the hotel were very courteous, and the cleaning staff on my floor were also excellent. A big thumbs up to the hotel staff! 👍🏻 Second, the transportation is very convenient. Within a 5-minute walk, there are Metro Line 11 and Line 2, making it super easy to get anywhere. There's also a bus stop right outside the hotel, and taxis are readily available. Transportation is exceptionally convenient. Across from the hotel is the large shopping mall, Liuhua Center, making dining and shopping easy. Popular restaurants like Dian De and Nanhai Fishing Village are right next to the hotel, and the Southern Theater Command General Hospital is nearby – truly a versatile location. Third, the room facilities are modern, the bedding is comfortable, the soundproofing is excellent, and the room is tidy and clean. The room also feels very spacious, and the conditions are top-notch. Overall, this stay exceeded my expectations, and my entire family was very pleased. I will definitely stay here again on future trips to Guangzhou. I'm also leaving this review on Ctrip to give an honest opinion to everyone. It's truly an excellent hotel worth recommending.

Had a good stay at the hotel. Pros: 1) I was given a room on the same floor as the hotel's lobby on the 17th floor. Hence, it was very convenient for me. ) They had a pillow menu which had many choices for us to choose. But, their standard pillows were good enough for me. 2) I enjoyed the free use of the washing machine and dryer. Washing detergent was also provided. the machines were quite efficient. I took less than 1 and half hour to wash and dry. 3) The staff, Wincy, was also very friendly and helpful. Cons: 1) The nearest MRT was abt 500 m from the hotel and we had to go through a shopping mall to get to the mrt. 2) The room did not have the usual bathroom set up. There was no door separating the bath area and beds.

It's rare to find an urban oasis like this in the heart of the city 🌳 The lobby is grand and features beautiful fresh flowers, just how I like them. As soon as you enter, someone is there to greet you and help with your luggage all the way to your room. The two-story floor-to-ceiling windows are incredibly artistic, perfect for enjoying the view and taking photos. The best part for me is having my favorite Bose sound system! 🎶 I truly love just relaxing in the hotel, chatting, and listening to music. 🛎️ Upon check-in, you receive complimentary fruit, and in the evening, they even deliver sweet soup as a turndown service. If you order takeout, a staff member will personally bring it to your room. The toiletries are ginger-scented, and the hairdryer is a Dyson – definitely a bonus! This was my first time visiting Guangzhou, and I was very pleased with my stay at the China Hotel. First off, the location is excellent; the D1 exit of Metro Line 2 is only about 5 meters from the hotel's side entrance, making it incredibly convenient to get to all the city's attractions. The hotel staff were all very polite, and I'd especially like to commend Katrina at the front desk who handled my check-in. She was very welcoming, provided a detailed overview of the hotel's facilities, and even mentioned the direct bus service to Macau operated by CTS right next door, which saved us the trouble of going to the South Station for the high-speed train. The à la carte breakfast options were excellent 👍, a definite plus. The afternoon tea had a huge selection of pastries for just over 400 RMB, directly facing the Canton Tower. We also experienced the Yueyi Children's Fun - Lingnan themed cultural handicraft experience. After we finished our crafts, they even gave us a gift for the child, which was a nice touch 👍. 【Environment & Service】 We picked Rosewood mainly because of its great location. It was super close to where we needed to be for our appointments. Plus, it’s near Canton Tower and directly connected to K11, which made it really convenient to just pop downstairs for shopping or meals. The room had a moody, dimly lit vibe mixed with modern Chinese touches—stylish and cozy. There were lots of clever little design details, like a calligraphy brush that doubles as a stylus when you remove the tip. My kid absolutely loved that! During our stay, the staff were patient, friendly, and pretty quick to respond. The service matched what you’d expect at this price point—nothing over the top, but definitely solid. It felt like, ”Yeah, it’s good, but no big surprises.” 【Highly Recommend】 The hotel’s breakfast buffet was the highlight for my little one. There was a great variety of food—fresh and tasty. Best of all, we got to enjoy the city view while eating. The seating was well spaced, so it never felt crowded or noisy. We really enjoy the breakfast and had such good time . 【Safety Hazard】 The only downside was the bathroom layout—it’s a bit of a safety issue. There are two very low steps between the bathroom entrance and the shower area. Both my kid and I almost tripped. Even though there’s a non-slip strip on the floor as a warning, it doesn’t help much. Just a heads-up—be careful when you walking in. 【Heads-Up! Skip Lunch at the Western Restaurant】 Since we were short on time, we had lunch at the same restaurant where breakfast is served. It’s à la carte for lunch, and the experience was just okay. The food was nothing special, and the staff seemed busy but not very attentive—it was hard to get their attention. Our lobster pasta took over 40 minutes to arrive, and no one warned us about the wait. My kid got so hungry, he ended up filling up on bread. By the time the pasta came, he was already full. Unless you’re really into the enviroment, otherwise I'm really not recommend.

The lobby and physical rooms are notably much older than what the photos suggest, creating a significant gap between expectation and reality. The hotel features different wings, ranging from new to quite old, and during my conversations, I noticed that this concern wasn't adequately addressed by the front desk staff. If you're seeking a more modern interior, I highly recommend requesting a room in the new wing to ensure a more pleasant stay. However, what truly stood out during my visit was the exceptional service provided by the manager, Leon. His attentiveness and dedication to addressing our concerns transformed our experience, turning an initial disappointment into a truly positive one. Leon's genuine commitment to guest satisfaction is commendable and makes a remarkable difference in the overall impression of this hotel. This time we chose the Four Seasons for our family trip, and honestly, it was a bit underwhelming. The facilities are indeed excellent, with great attention to detail, and the housekeeping staff was responsive and very polite. I had originally booked a Deluxe City View Twin Room. The front desk offered an upgrade to a room with a view of the Canton Tower for an extra 699, so I casually asked if a free upgrade was possible. Their response felt very stiff; they said no, stating that you only get the Canton Tower view if you upgrade. To be honest, when I stayed at the Rosewood, I booked a room directly facing the Canton Tower, so it's not like I haven't seen it before. Since I was already there, I was fine with paying the extra, but their rigid response left a bad taste in my mouth. I didn't experience any of the concierge service that others mentioned in reviews; I guess they were just too busy due to the National Day holiday. What was even more unbelievable was the F&B department. We had two breakfasts included. My husband went down alone to eat and tried to pack some for me. A server from the F&B department not only lectured him but also stared intently, which was a first for me. I mean, we had two breakfasts included! This kind of service is just *fantastic*... The two stars I gave for service are solely for the housekeeping department.

Huguangyan is a volcanic crater that is tens of millions of years old. It has a great geological landscape and is very suitable for archaeological research. The air there is like an air purifier with a very high oxygen content. It is a good choice to get close to nature.

There are good storage rooms, but you can change clothes in the locker rooms only in the shower. There are few people during the day, so you can fully ride on all the slides. The park opens late - 12.30. Some of our tickets worked only from 13.00. Morning time is optimal for skiing in the heat, but the park is closed. In the evening, there are more people Lunch is inexpensive, but not super tasty, you can say it's okay. Circles can be rented for 30 yuan per day. Overall, the park is nice.

Only 2 people can ride on most slides. Some have 4-5 people, and only in one place you can slide down the hill on your own. Children up to 150 cm are not allowed to ride on most slides. Some of the pools where people go down the hill are closed, so you can only wait at the entrance. It's impossible to take pictures. Older people are not allowed to skate at all. You can't go into the slides in slates. There are storage boxes for valuables, the rest can be left in tubes near the slide.

All the newly renovated room types selected, the rooms without decoration are old and abandoned. The newly renovated room is relatively large, and there is a large table for more than two people to use at the same time. The decoration is stylish and the color is simple and elegant. The hotel's Chinese restaurant can drink morning tea, there are more people during the Spring Festival, but the taste and price are not bad.

Geography: Next to the Golden Sands Bay, suitable for couples, families and children, children will have a lot of fun playing in the sand. I don't know about business, it should not be suitable, because there is a lot of traffic during the holidays, and the public transportation situation has not been experienced yet. Hygiene/Service: Intercontinental management level, no surprises, no surprises. Facilities: The special thing is that there is a swimming pool to check in, and the rest is no different from ordinary Intercontinental. Dining: Breakfast is average, there are fewer Chinese dishes on the third floor, and I haven't tried the Japanese food on the second floor. I guess it's average. It is recommended to eat seafood in the surrounding area. Room: The space is OK, and the sea view room is recommended.

Very nice hotel in Zhanjiang, spacious, clean and well equipped room. Staff very friendly and helpful, always with smile. Our special thanks to Ms. Yvonne Zhao for great help with all matters during our stay, but also to all people from reception and front desk. Very good selection of food for breakfast. Convenient underground parking. There is ATM, service center in hotel, it is possible to pay with foreign credit cards. Large supermarket just behind the corner. The LN garden hotel Zhanjiang is absolutely outstanding. I can not fault it in any way. The hotel itself is just superb and added to the friendliness and efficiency of the staff make the experience one to remember. The food was very nice with a huge variety of dishes. I actually made a mistake with my room choice when booking but this was quickly and courteously altered to my liking. Thank you to the manager and team that sorted this for me. If you do visit LN garden hotel do try to have a panoramic sea view room. This room was the icing on the cake, on the 29th floor the views were amazing. This is now my favorite hotel in Zhanjiang by a long way.

The room was cleaned very well. When I checked out, I saw the staff vacuuming the carpets in other rooms. The mattress was very comfortable. The room was well soundproofed. Overall, I slept soundly. Both the indoor and outdoor pools were open. It was very cold outside, but the indoor pool was heated, so it wasn't cold to swim. I wanted to stay another night, but found that the price had increased by about 200 yuan from a few days ago. I felt bad for my wallet, so I checked out. I'll come back next time.

Staff are friendly and professional. Check in was smooth. They provided a welcome fruit plate (an apple, a pear and an orange) which was delivered by a robot. Love the free self laundry service (3 washing machines and 3 dryers) as you don't find this at most of the hotels. Excellent breakfast with varieties. I love the noodle bar which provides freshly made wonton. The hotel also offers late night snacks with steam buns, freshly made wonton noodles from noodle bar and fried noodles. Room is spacious. The only complaint is there are no restaurants right at the hotel or next door. However, there is a 7/11 to grab quick snacks.

The soundproofing of the room was poor. During the day, I could hear renovations on the third floor and children crying in other rooms. When I came back from staying on the fifth floor, I saw someone on the large platform in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows. They were walking around using hooks to fix the air conditioner. In general I would say it has a much higher quality standards than most multi chain contemporary style hotels I have stayed it throughout China. The hotel offered a complimentary tea and mid night snack with the booking which was very decent as a light snack and the breakfast had a good selection of foods to choose from. Fu entered the hotel lobby and saw that the hotel's Chinese restaurant seat was empty. There were travel agency group friends staying in one after another, and they took the room with a good impression. The room is on the 4th floor of the lowest floor of the hotel room. The corridor is full of smoke. The room is small and the furnishings are old and suitable for guests who like nostalgia, but they are still clean. Outside the window is a triangular patio, with large glass curtain walls on both sides. You can see the guests of the VIP lounge on the second and third floors for meals, and on the other side is the stairs, with windows such as no windows. At night, there was a strong karaoke sound, sometimes raging and disturbing. Call the front desk and downplayed that the karaoke business affiliated to the hotel was open to 2 am. I asked for a room change and wanted to delay. Finally, it was assigned to a slightly quieter room on the 5th floor. After I looked through the order, I originally booked a room on the 5th floor, and I immediately felt that I was playing with it; she called herself ”Global International”, hoping to face the international, saying good about China? It seems to be the opposite! The hotel buffet breakfast ¥28 provides not many food choices, and they are all porridge noodles and rice coarse grains, which are available in the nearby restaurants and shops.

There are many people in Zhanjiang during the Spring Festival. Since there are 18 people in this group, including 8 elderly people, we started to choose a hotel very early. First, it should be easy to get in and out, second, it should be convenient to eat nearby, and third, the room should be large. We chose Yinwan among many hotels, which turned out to be the most correct decision for this trip to Zhanjiang. Because the elderly have the custom of paying New Year's greetings and want to be lively, Xiao Chen from the reservation department helped us arrange the room type throughout the whole process and provided valuable suggestions. Enthusiastic and thoughtful, she helped us coordinate the room and floor until the day of check-in. Special thanks again! The mahjong machine we needed was put into the suite in advance, and the staff of the housekeeping department also helped to debug on the same day. Special thanks, so that the elderly spent a lively and happy New Year's Eve! Thank you again to the staff of the housekeeping department (because I was too busy and forgot to ask the name of the staff who debugged there). In addition, I would like to thank the front desk manager. Because an elderly person had difficulty walking, we borrowed a wheelchair at the front desk, and the front desk manager was also very enthusiastic to help us debug. Thank you again! Known for its long history and unique cultural charm, Chaozhou Ancient City is a great place to explore traditional Chinese culture. The well-preserved ancient buildings and streets in the ancient city make people feel as if they have returned to the past and can feel the pulse of history. The temples, archways and old streets here exude strong local characteristics, and every corner is full of stories. Teochew cuisine is also a highlight, with local Teochew dishes praised for their exquisite flavours and unique cooking methods. Visitors can taste a variety of authentic food in the restaurants in the ancient city, which will leave you with an unforgettable aftertaste. Although the ancient city is becoming increasingly crowded with tourists, you can still find some quiet places to stroll and relax. Overall, Chaozhou Ancient Town is a fascinating blend of history, culture and food, and is well worth a visit.

With a history of 1,600 years, you will see the historic stone archway on the pedestrian street! 🕋 And on both sides there are Western arcades from the early Republic of China period! You may also want to try the ancient city's special delicacies, such as salted water nude, handmade tofu cakes, old medicinal oranges, yellow drums, bergamot, etc. 🕋 When the lights are turned on at night, the ancient city suddenly becomes a city that never sleeps, very beautiful!

Located in Guangdong Province, China, Chaozhou Ancient City has a long history and rich cultural heritage. The architecture here combines Chinese and Western styles, showcasing the unique Chaoshan style. Old Street snacks are another major feature of Chaozhou. Famous delicacies include Chaozhou rice noodles, beef balls, spring rolls and shacha sauce, which are delicious and mouth-watering. Wandering in the streets of the ancient city and appreciating Chaozhou opera and Kung Fu tea, one can feel the strong local culture and enthusiastic folk customs.

The tour of Chaozhou Ancient City is fascinating. The quaint streets and traditional buildings made me feel the strong historical atmosphere. Walking on the bluestone slabs, the temples and teahouses on both sides exude a faint fragrance, making people completely immersed in the culture of Chaozhou. In particular, Chaozhou handicrafts, such as ceramics and embroidery, showcase exquisite craftsmanship. We tasted authentic Teochew snacks such as beef balls and rice noodle soup, which were delicious and memorable. This trip not only broadened my horizons, but also made me love this charming land even more.

To be honest, compared with Shantou Ancient City, the design of Chaozhou Ancient City is not so good. First of all, the planning of the ancient city area is not very good. Although it is said to be integrated with the residential area, there is no special arrangement anywhere, and the scenic spots are also scattered. To put it bluntly, there is no overall planning of the scenic area and the traffic flow, etc. The relevant government needs to take action in the arrangement.

Shantou Park, located in Shantou City, Guangdong Province, is a landmark of Shantou Port Area. The architecture here combines the charm of the East and the West, full of historical marks, and is a place that witnesses the cultural changes of Chaoshan from the past to the present. There are many shops inside, selling traditional handicrafts, such as paper cutting, wood carving, embroidery, etc.

Shantou Small Park is a very famous local attraction. It is crowded with people both day and night, especially at night when the lights are on, attracting a large number of tourists to check in. There are many tea shops and souvenir shops on both sides. You can find a tea room and quietly sip Chaozhou Kung Fu tea. It is indeed a refueling station during the trip.

The small park in the old city is now not only a classical beauty with retro colors, but also has temporary stalls, which makes it more colorful. Let's take a walk with you below [Handmade Sculptures] Handmade dolls, colorful and pleasing to the eyes, so lively, I can't stand in the front to take a good look [tears]. [Quick Portraits] Many mothers brought their children here to leave a souvenir and make quick portraits. It's a bit hard to stand for more than ten minutes because there are so many fun things around [snickering].

Shantou is a city that makes people feel particularly friendly. The sea breeze here blows gently, making people feel happy. As the cultural center of the Chaoshan area, Shantou has a very rich variety of food, such as beef balls, Chaozhou rice noodles, and the fragrant Chaozhou beef hot pot, which makes people become regular customers after trying it. In Shantou, strolling on the old street, you will find many interesting shops selling handicrafts and local specialties, which are especially suitable as souvenirs. The people here are also very enthusiastic and often chat with you and introduce local good places. In addition to food and shopping, Shantou's seaside is also a good place to relax. You can take a walk on the beach and enjoy the sun, or sit in a coffee shop by the sea and quietly watch the waves hit the shore. At night, the lights on the beach flicker, which is particularly romantic, making people want to stay here for a while. In general, Shantou is a vibrant city. Whether it is eating, playing or making friends, you can feel the charm here. If you have the opportunity to come to Shantou, you must enjoy every moment of this city!

Shantou Park is very nice to visit. There are many old shops and traditional arcade buildings here. The new buildings here are very beautiful and different from most scenic spots in China! There are not too many Internet celebrity foods that are the same. I will not get tired of visiting here for two days. In fact, it is more carefully designed than the scenic spots in China.

I had a wonderful stay at the Crowne Plaza Chao Zhou Riverside because of its strategic location for Guang Ji Qiao lighting show from my window. The staff were friendly and attentive, namely Miss Jenny Zhang, who served us promptly at the counter. Another guy, Mr Tom Fang,   took hiring and calling for the 'Didi travel' to and fro for our dinner. Moreover, Mr Jason Chen, who is the 值班经理 also acted friendly, deligent, helpful, and professional in his  services for our stay and tour. In fact, we appreciated it very much for such a warmth hospitality. Besides, the room was clean and conducive, and the facilities were excellent. We especially enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere here. Thank you for making our stay pleasant and memorable. We look forward to returning soon and introduce to friends and relatives as well.

Paifang Street/Chaozhou Ancient City/Guangji Bridge Chaozhou|3.24km from downtown
A cultural residence that travels through ancient and modern times Stepping into the ancient city of Chaozhou, passing through the bustling archway street and bluestone lane, Hanting Courtyard Resort Hotel is like a slowly unfolding ink painting, quietly laying out the tranquility and poetry of Chaoshan culture. This courtyard-style hotel is not only a place to rest, but also an immersive experience of dialogue with history. ### **First encounter: a poetic residence with ancient charm and modern style** The hotel is cleverly located, adjacent to the Hanjiang River and the core area of the ancient city of Chaozhou. It only takes a few minutes to walk to attractions such as Guangji Bridge and Kaiyuan Temple. Pushing open the wooden door with black lacquered copper rings, the hustle and bustle is instantly isolated from the outside. The Lingnan courtyards with white walls, black tiles, and flying eaves are scattered in an orderly manner. A koi pond in the courtyard reflects the dancing bamboo shadows, and the gaps between the stone steps are dotted with moss, as if you have strayed into the private residence of literati in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The staff at the front desk, dressed in plain cheongsam, smiled and handed over a cup of Phoenix Dancong tea. In the fragrance of tea, the check-in procedures have been quietly completed. ### **Guest room: Chaoshan craftsmanship can be seen in the details** I stayed in the guest room on the third floor. When I pushed the door open, the original wood furniture and plain linen curtains created an elegant atmosphere. Handmade red clay tea sets and Phoenix Dancong tea bags were placed on the table; the bathroom wall was inlaid with Chaozhou's traditional shell gray bricks. When the night was quiet, leaning on the rattan chair in the courtyard, listening to the wind chimes on the eaves, watching the moonlight sprinkled on the blue brick floor, it seemed as if I was breathing with the Chaozhou culture thousands of years ago. ### **Food: Chaoshan style on the tip of the tongue** Breakfast is a bowl of hot beef rice noodle soup, hand-made beef balls are chewy and juicy, and the soup base is clear but fresh and fragrant. ### **Garden tour: immersive cultural gathering** The hotel itself is a cultural attraction. Walking in the corridor in a skirt, every shot is an ancient style blockbuster. ### **Service: A hospitality like a spring breeze** The service of Han Ting Bie Yuan can be described as ”silent and gentle”. The housekeeper asked about the arrival time one day in advance and sent a guide to Chaozhou. When leaving the hotel, you received a gift of old medicinal oranges and Buddha's hand fruit, and a handwritten Chaozhou dialect blessing card... All these details make the stay more than just ”home away from home”, but more like a cultural empathy with a confidant. ### **There is a place to stay here, where you can rest your body and mind** During the two-day and one-night stay, Han Ting Bie Yuan used space as a medium to tell the cultural context, customs and hospitality philosophy of Chaozhou. It does not pursue efficiency like a standardized hotel, but invites you to slow down: read a volume of ”Han Yu's Collected Works” in the fragrance of tea, listen to a Chaozhou string poem under the moonlight, and let your body and mind find a place to return to in the rhythm of the thousand-year-old ancient city.

Hanwen Temple/Taifo Hall Chaozhou|4.6km from downtown
We were two people on a self-driving trip. We found the transportation and parking to be very convenient. The river view from the room was superb; we could lie in bed and watch the bridge and the river both in the morning and when relaxing in the afternoon. We even tried walking across the river in the evening – it was a bit warm, but the scenery was lovely. Upon check-in, we received a 100 RMB breakfast voucher, which could be freely used for dim sum at the Chinese restaurant. The hotel's dim sum seems quite popular locally, as we saw local diners with their families enjoying breakfast there in the mornings. With our 100 RMB voucher, we (two of us) had a huge basket of walnut buns, Chencun rice noodles, seaweed rolls, and red rice sausage. Plus a pot of tea. We even took some leftovers with us. The taste was excellent. It truly lived up to the reputation of dining in Chaoshan.

Paifang Street/Chaozhou Ancient City/Guangji Bridge Chaozhou|2.9km from downtown
The C-position, ceiling hotel on Paifang Street is a few minutes' walk from Guangji Bridge, which is convenient for coming and going on Chaozhou's busiest pedestrian street. After entering the hotel, it is completely different from the bustling street. The sound insulation is very good, and there is no noise at all. The hotel has high added value, with parking lots and restaurants with good relationships, and it also contacts taxis, which is especially valuable during holidays. The New Year's Eve dinner on New Year's Eve has a long queue, and the housekeeper helps to take it to Chaoshanlou, and there is almost no queue. This restaurant not only has delicious dishes, but also very enthusiastic service. Thank you so much haha! All the service staff of the hotel are of high quality, warm and friendly. This stay experienced Chaozhou opera culture and Kung Fu tea, and walked the streets with the housekeeper to eat authentic local snacks that are not Internet celebrity stores, so... The most correct thing for this Spring Festival travel is to book the Royal Hotel.

It's no exaggeration to say this is one of the most pleasantly surprising hotels I've stayed in for years. **About the Room: The Ultimate Enjoyment of a 70sqm Suite** We stayed in a 70sqm luxury suite, and the first impression was ”spacious”! I absolutely loved the design style – modern and minimalist, with soft colors and clean lines, creating a serene and upscale ambiance. What's most remarkable is that despite such a large space, it never felt empty; every area was perfectly divided, and the furniture placement was just right. **Details are the Winning Card Here** If design is the skeleton, then details are the flesh and blood that bring this place to life. * **Bathroom**: The wet and dry separation is excellent, and smart toilets are standard. The shower water pressure is strong and stable, washing away all fatigue. The toiletries have a premium scent and feel fantastic to use. * **Other Thoughtful Touches**: The blackout curtains are perfect, ensuring a high-quality sleep; USB ports and power outlets are plentiful by the bedside and in the work area, perfectly meeting the needs of modern guests. **Dining and Service: Impeccable** **Breakfast** offers a rich variety, from Chinese dim sum and congee to Western bread and salads, and even a live noodle station. The ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are authentic. The service staff are warm and proactive, clearing plates promptly. **Summary** From stepping into the lobby to checking out, the entire stay was incredibly comfortable. The spaciousness and design of the 70sqm suite, the meticulous details, the abundant breakfast, and the warm service all combined to create a perfect accommodation experience.

People's Square Chaozhou|1.54km from downtown
Facilities: I booked a standard twin room, which was very spacious. The shower, sink, and toilet were all separate, and there was a smart toilet. It was roomy enough for two people and avoided any awkwardness. They even added a small walk-in closet for changing clothes and shoes, and hanging items, which was very thoughtful. Hygiene: The room's hygiene was good. However, due to space limitations, the lobby lacked the typical Atour features like a book bar or coffee area, and there was no signature Atour fragrance. The revolving glass door at the entrance was quite small, making it a bit tight when bringing in luggage. The glass and carpet were a bit dirty, which didn't quite reflect the usual refinement and warmth expected from Atour. Environment: It's about a 10-minute drive to Paifang Street, which is very convenient. It's a quiet location despite being on a main road, and the soundproofing is excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep. Late-night porridge: White porridge and a few pickles were offered in the evening. It wasn't elaborate but enough to fill you up. Breakfast was plentiful, with offerings like douhua (tofu pudding), beef kway teow, and various beverages.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, with a park downstairs perfect for a leisurely stroll. There's also a craft street right behind it, and all the major Chaozhou tourist attractions are within walking distance, which is incredibly convenient. While the hotel might not appear very spacious from the outside, the interior layout and decor create a wonderfully comfortable and cozy atmosphere. The lobby offers a selection of floral teas, including a particularly unique 'Lao Yao Ju' (aged tangerine peel) tea, which I believe is one of Chaozhou's 'Three Treasures.' Its taste is subtly sweet, without any bitterness or astringency. It's truly delicious! Highly recommended. 👍

People's Square Chaozhou|0.76km from downtown
Overall, I was extremely dissatisfied with the hotel's operational management and soft services. 👇🏻 Poor management; Unprofessional service; Lack of attentiveness/awareness; Inept at handling issues... On the day of check-in, we drove five or six hours from Shunde to Chaozhou, arriving at the hotel past 3 PM. The front desk informed us that there were no clean rooms available and we would have to wait 40-50 minutes. The family checking in before us had booked a family room, and they seemingly also didn't have a room ready, so the front desk upgraded them and offered a complimentary breakfast. When it was my turn after them, I was told to wait 40-50 minutes. Since I had already booked and paid for a family room – which the hotel stated was already their largest room type – there were no other room options for an upgrade or change; I was simply told to wait. So, I have a few questions: First, how can your hotel's management be so disorganized? Even if business is good and guests frequently check out late, causing housekeepers to be short on time, don't you manage room availability and dynamically track check-outs and upcoming check-ins? I would be understanding if a room wasn't ready before 2 PM, but not having one available by almost 3:30 PM is simply unacceptable. Second, I believe upgrading guests to resolve issues is a thoughtful, customer-centric way for hotels to handle problems and gain satisfaction – that's fine. However, how does that make guests who *already* booked that specific room type feel? When you upgraded the previous guest, did you consider whether all other guests who booked the same room type had arrived, or if rooms needed to be held for them? I had already paid for a family room. You can upgrade others, but you shouldn't neglect guests who paid extra for that room type in the first place! The upgraded guests waited 5 minutes, got a room, and a free breakfast. Then it was my turn, having booked the same room type, and I had to wait 40 minutes... and was then given a long, narrow room that I suspect wasn't even a family room. Is this how the hotel manages, resolves issues, and misleads guests? I eventually had to request a room change. Third, after receiving the room card, the front desk mentioned a complimentary breakfast. At the time, I assumed it was compensation for the 40-minute wait. The front desk just apologized and said the room originally included one breakfast, and they were adding another to make it two. Later, I observed that it seemed like everyone who went to the front desk received one. Perhaps I just misunderstood [sarcastic chuckle]. Fourth, above the glass shower enclosure, there was an aluminum alloy diagonal bar connecting the wall and the top of the sliding door, meant for stability. On the first night, while showering, it suddenly fell down and hit my shoulder, causing pain for half a day. Due to our tight schedule, we left early the next morning. When we returned in the evening, the fallen bar was still in the shower. It wasn't removed during daily room cleaning, nor was the engineering department called to fix it. If this diagonal beam was specifically installed for stability and to prevent safety hazards, why wasn't it fixed promptly after falling? What if the glass sliding door had fallen and injured a guest? That's no laughing matter. I genuinely don't understand how this hotel is managed on a daily basis. Fifth, the hotel's overall hardware design is quite user-friendly, aesthetically pleasing, and practical. However, I have a small suggestion: the room's lighting controls don't seem to allow for adjusting the light away from the head of the bed. For families like mine, who still have things to do after putting a baby to sleep, any lighting mode casts a bright light on the head of the bed, making it difficult for the child to fall asleep. Yet, turning all the lights off means I can't see to do anything. Finally, I must commend the hotel's breakfast, which was excellent. It offered a wide variety of meat and vegetarian options, along with some specialty dim sum, which was truly impressive. And the noodle chef's loud and cheerful greeting, ”Hello, would you like a bowl of noodles or vermicelli?” made for a very pleasant start to the morning.

Received a complimentary room upgrade, which was excellent! The room's cleanliness was also very well-maintained, a definite plus. On the downside, the breakfast area was too crowded; I'd suggest opening more sections or expanding the dining space. The complimentary shuttle service from the high-speed rail station was initially a positive. However, the driver subtly yet persistently asked me to add him on WeChat to solicit a good review as soon as I got in the car. This was a definite drawback! Overall, despite these issues, I'm still giving a five-star rating for this stay. However, if the driver explicitly asks for a review in person again during my next visit, I will certainly deduct points.

The warm water splashes like rain and washes away the fatigue of the day. The room has an air purifier and a fragrance machine, which is clean and tidy. Even the picky elderly are very satisfied. Although the hotel's breakfast style is not dazzling, it has the basic standard of Chinese and Western food. The focus should be on praising the hotel staff. When I was choosing breakfast, the lovely chef brother introduced me to the local characteristics, fried vegetarian pork patties and pink glutinous rice patties, and I didn't miss this special snack. There is also the handsome guy at the front desk who received me in. He is also warm and thoughtful. He is very careful. I checked in and didn't inform my husband which room to stay in. The first time I stayed at the Guest House, I didn't say anything about safety. The Guest House was very safe and parking was very convenient. There was a car charging pile and the hotel service was super good. And clean, and the quiet park is large. If I go to Chaozhou again, I will still choose this hotel.

My stay at the hotel in Chaozhou city center was absolutely perfect! Attractions were just two or three kilometers away, making them easily accessible. The hotel facilities were excellent, with every detail showcasing quality. It offered convenient transport links, free parking, and a warm, tranquil environment that was truly relaxing. The staff were professional and friendly, providing attentive service that left a lasting impression. It's definitely a highly recommended hotel. The front desk offers complimentary luggage storage and wake-up call services, with professional and highly efficient staff. The room was clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding and good soundproofing, allowing me to sleep soundly until morning. Excellent value for money! The room decor was simple yet elegant, with well-arranged furniture, appropriate lighting, and conveniently placed power outlets for charging. The thoughtful attention to detail was evident.

This was my second stay here, and it's a great choice if you're passing through Chaozhou. It's super convenient for getting on and off the highway, and there's free parking available. It's only a few kilometers to popular spots like Paifang Street and Guangji Bridge, so a taxi ride isn't expensive. Right across the street, there's a really good beef hotpot place called Guantang Brothers Beef Hotpot – it's big, tasty, and reasonably priced. The room amenities are adequate. There was a bit of dust in less obvious places, like the top of the headboard, but overall the cleanliness was fine. We even walked to Qianchao Banquet for dinner, and it wasn't far at all.

He even helped me with my luggage, so my clothes didn't get wet at all. During my stay, I casually mentioned to the cleaning lady that I needed a hanger, and not long after, not only did she bring one, but she brought two extra. The hardware at Backpackers 10 Years met my expectations: the 16-bed dorm had spacious bunks and comfortable mattresses, and the bathroom had stable water pressure and temperature. Considering the price, it's more reliable than some hostels abroad, though there were occasional oversights in cleaning the washbasins. However, the experience had significant drawbacks: the quality of fellow guests varied widely. Several times, people would return to the room at 2 or 3 AM and deliberately open and close doors loudly, completely disregarding others' rest. Hostels are shared spaces that require mutual consideration; a low accommodation price doesn't mean you deserve to be disturbed. Still, on one night of this trip, I slept soundly because my roommates were considerate, which shows the environment itself can ensure good rest, and the issues mostly stem from other people. I've learned my lesson and next time I'll choose to pay more for peace and quiet. Additionally, the accommodation floor and the front desk are not on the same level, so I had to go upstairs specifically to get water, which was a bit inconvenient.

The environment is decent, and the venue is suitable for events and conferences. I even happened to catch a new car launch when I checked in. The room itself is quite spacious, but the furnishings and fixtures feel very dated. Not quite dilapidated, but definitely old-fashioned. The towels, in particular, were frayed and shedding. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired; it just didn't seem clean, especially the countertop around the bathtub, which looked like it hadn't been wiped down properly and felt very haphazard. Breakfast was just average, but the cleanliness of the restaurant tables and chairs was also quite unsatisfactory. Overall, it's okay for an event venue, but for personal stays, the room's hardware probably isn't even on par with a 400 RMB mid-range business hotel (and I paid over 600 RMB). The only highlight is the hotel's location at the delta, which allows for pleasant walks along the river. For those who prioritize modern facilities and up-to-date amenities, I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

The location is absolutely unbeatable! Datang Everbright City is right downstairs. I stayed in Xi'an for four days; the first two nights were at the Ritz, and for the latter two, I chose the Westin because I wanted to experience Hanfu makeup and styling nearby. When checking in, I specifically requested a quiet room, and they gave me one facing the inner courtyard, which was very peaceful and beautiful. A big thank you to Candy! Comparing the two hotels, the Ritz clearly has a newer and more modern decor. The Westin feels a bit dated and has more of a traditional Chinese style. Due to time constraints, I didn't get a chance to use the complimentary museum tickets. This hotel is a great choice if you want to explore and take photos in Datang Everbright City at night.

We chose this hotel for our honeymoon. We were initially hesitant about staying at the Grand Hyatt due to its distance from most attractions, but ultimately decided on it because of the spacious rooms. Kelsey contacted me a day before our arrival. Upon learning it was our honeymoon and that I'd ordered flowers and a cake, she thoughtfully offered to sign for them and place them in our room in advance. She even went the extra mile by decorating the room beautifully and leaving a hand-drawn card. She was also incredibly helpful, resolving all our questions and issues during our stay. Kelsey truly deserves a shout-out, more so than the hotel itself! When hotels are otherwise comparable, service is what truly sets them apart. The breakfast selection was quite limited, but their Roujiamo (Chinese meat sandwich) was hands down the best I had during my four days in Xi'an! The same young chef who prepared Shuipen Yangrou (lamb soup) on the morning of the 16th and Roujiamo on the morning of the 17th was truly the star of the breakfast service! He was incredibly patient, meticulous, and always went out of his way to accommodate various requests. When visiting Xi'an, staying near the Bell Tower is a must. And among the options there, the Mercure is definitely the best fit. It's incredibly close to attractions like the Bell Tower and the Muslim Quarter, and with a subway station nearby, you can easily explore all of Xi'an. Yet, despite being in the heart of the city, it's surprisingly quiet and peaceful. They host many international guests, and business seems to be thriving. The facilities are relatively new, clean, and the breakfast spread is good. The only issue is that the sound of doors closing in the rooms can be quite loud; you can clearly hear doors closing from the next room. This definitely needs improvement.

My first visit to Xi'an was during the Chinese New Year holiday right after the pandemic restrictions were lifted, and I chose the W Hotel back then. Honestly, though, the W's style wasn't quite my favorite at the time. Although I've had many business trips to Xi'an since, mostly in the Gaoxin area, I haven't stayed at the W again until now. This time, however, my business trip coincided with Trip.com's 'One City, One Room' promotion, and I re-booked the W. I found the experience even better than last time; the service attitude and quality were outstanding. The front desk staff, Ella, proactively offered an air purifier, which was a very thoughtful touch. The breakfast truly lives up to its reputation as Trip.com's number one food hotel in Xi'an. I've been recommending the oil-splashed noodles and mini buns from their breakfast to all my friends from out of town. Overall, it's significantly better than the Ritz, which is also on the same list. The PBX staff were also very gentle and efficient, responding promptly. The hotel's location is excellent as well, making travel convenient. I will definitely be back again.

They helped adjust the in-room hot spring, and when my shoes got wet, they brought a shoe dryer. The service was truly outstanding; we felt warmth and care in many aspects of our stay.

The lobby of the Shangri-La Hotel, Xi'an, still exudes the grand presence of a five-star hotel. However, it's an older property, and the room's furnishings, fixtures, and lighting feel quite dated. While guests in their seventies or eighties might appreciate this classic style, I personally lean towards more modern, design-centric hotels. Consequently, I only opted for a one-night stay. The bathroom lacks a smart toilet, and the bathtub is traditional, but everything is well-maintained and in good working order. The shower boasts excellent water pressure, and the body wash has a pleasant leafy, herbal scent. The hotel's swimming pool is good. Breakfast lived up to five-star standards, featuring a selection of local Xi'an snacks. My main dissatisfaction, however, was with the pillows. Shangri-La's pillows were disappointingly soft and offered absolutely no support. Given that a good night's sleep is crucial for hotel guests, the quality of pillows is by no means a trivial matter! On this front, I truly hope this established Shangri-La can put its pride aside and learn from its more nimble counterpart, Atour, to make improvements!

The room is clean and service is good. We chose a bigger room but I think a normal size room is good enough. More important is the ventilation and air conditioning issue. There is always a little different smell or odor of air especially when rooms nearby is smoking. Different taste of smell of smokes comes into the room from air conditioning ventilation or through the gap I think. I cannot sleep well because I am a non smoker. For 5 nights I am inhaling a mini version of second hand smoke when sleeping, but after a few days my sense of smell is numb of the odor!

This is an interesting hotel within the Renmin Square precinct. It is not actually a 'people's square' in the conventional sense but an official precinct of grand sandstone and marble buildings erected in 1957. The buildings are majestic but the interiors are a little dated and tired. Our rooms were well furnished with very comfortable beds, well-functioning heating, air conditioning and bathrooms. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and assisted us with tourist information and transport. Breakfasts were good with a reasonable variety of dishes. Rooms were suitable serviced each day. I liked the quiet atmosphere of this hotel, its landscaped surroundings, and its close proximity to the CBD. It took us 20 minutes to walk to the Bell Tower and 30 minutes to the ancient city wall. Some of the staff spoke fluent English which was very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

The hotel's entrance signage was unclear, and I almost went to the wrong door, as there are three hotels within the same complex. I'm not sure if it was due to a slight delay in check-in, but the front desk upgraded our room, which was a pleasant surprise. Overall, the room was pretty well-maintained, though it had a couple of minor flaws: the bathroom door didn't close tightly, and there was a noticeable dent on the floor. The service was enthusiastic, but their efficiency and execution could be improved. The dinner at the Italian restaurant was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the egg white omelet and black sesame paste for breakfast, both of which I haven't seen offered at other hotels. The complimentary fruit in the room wasn't of great quality; the pepino melon, for instance, was unripe. The TWG tea and bottled mountain spring water in the room, however, were fitting for a hotel of this caliber. The hotel also boasts a beautiful garden at the back. My lasting impressions of this hotel are its French romantic architecture and the delightful fragrance of osmanthus flowers.

For my trip to Xi'an, I stayed at the Atour Hotel Xi'an Bell Tower Yongningli, and its location is absolutely superb. You can see the Yongning Gate city wall right from the hotel, and it's very close to the Yongning Gate subway station, making it incredibly convenient to get to places like the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, or Muslim Quarter, either by subway or on foot. Stepping into the hotel, the lobby is spacious and bright, with a minimalist yet stylish decor. The whole area feels open and well-lit. When I checked in, the front desk staff was incredibly welcoming; they not only processed my check-in quickly but also thoughtfully offered me hot tea. The room itself was beyond perfect – clean and tidy. At night, I could even enjoy the illuminated city wall view from the window 🌃. Despite being right next to the road, there was absolutely no issue with noise. The hotel also features a well-equipped gym and laundry room, with comprehensive instructions that are easy for even first-time users to follow. The Atour Hotel truly made my Xi'an trip a very satisfying experience. I highly recommend it!!!

Traveling to Xi'an, a friend recommended the W Hotel, but I'm really tired of the 'nightclub vibe.' Influenced by Dr. Shepherd's recommendation, I still chose to stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Xi'an. I previously stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Jiuzhaigou, and the experience was undoubtedly breathtaking. This was my first time staying at an urban Ritz-Carlton hotel, and I can say that from the personalized butler service and impeccable hygiene to the hardware and the club lounge, which The Ritz-Carlton is most proud of, it was truly a home-away-from-home experience. The Ritz-Carlton, Xi'an, reportedly opened in 2020, so it's been five years, but the hardware shows no signs of aging, indicating the hotel's significant investment in maintenance. The cleanliness is also impeccable, and my favorite remains The Ritz-Carlton's bedding. This time, I booked an Executive King Room, and the hotel upgraded me to an Executive Suite based on availability. The larger and more comfortable space was very satisfying. In particular, the bathroom was very spacious and felt entirely un-cramped. The bathroom fixtures are TOTO, and the toiletries are from Diptyque's Fig collection. The room featured many design elements blended with the city of Xi'an, but what I want to praise most is the elevator lobby design (it makes you want to linger and wait longer). Special praise for the butler service: I've heard many complaints about Marriott's butler service being nominal, but I truly experienced it at The Ritz-Carlton, Xi'an. Before check-in, I received a call asking about my preferences. Upon arrival, the butler personally came downstairs to greet me, offered a discount on part of the Mini Bar, and presented a custom Xi'an Terracotta Warrior small lion. After check-in, they also gave me a tour of the hotel's restaurants and wellness facilities, which greatly helped me get a better and more comprehensive understanding of the hotel. I later learned that my butler was an intern, but their professionalism and hospitality could easily rival that of a full-time employee. Regarding the laundry service: Laundry service was included in my package, and the service was truly meticulous and professional. More praise for the Executive Lounge: The Ritz-Carlton's Executive Lounge is a signature feature of the hotel, truly allowing for 'five meals a day.' Starting from afternoon tea, through evening happy hour, and extending to brunch, it's essentially an all-day offering. However, during the off-season, the lounge had fewer people, and while the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, it was very quiet. For a full hotel breakfast experience, I'd still recommend going to the 3rd floor. The two service staff in the lounge were also very attentive, truly delivering service with a smile! The Ritz-Carlton Xi'an's lounge is genuinely enormous, with interconnected floor-to-ceiling windows offering panoramic views of Xi'an. If your budget allows, I highly recommend an executive room, as the lounge privileges are simply irresistible. Finally, a sincere thank you to my private butler, Bruce, for providing me with a perfect stay! The Ritz-Carlton, Xi'an, deserves a full five-star rating.

Opened in 2012, the facilities are a bit old, the bedding is very average, but there are also highlights, smart toilet, smart gauze curtain, strong Chinese style and simple atmosphere. The service is very average, the concierge is also very poor and has no service awareness. There were some problems during the check-in process, but fortunately their manager (forgot to ask the name) solved them in time. They sent welcome fruits and breakfast. Thank you, but the front desk service really needs to be improved.

This is one of the nicest stays foe me in Xi'an in recent memory. The hotel was at a great location and staff were extremely helpful. I had a request to print few pictures from my iPhone, the gentle man in the service desk on June 28 went above and beyond to help me download the pictures and reformat them and print out! He even went to office to photo copy another set of the picture for me. I really appreciate the help. The food was great also, and enjoyed it very much. I missed the bar at the 51st floor. I had good time there listening to music and live show many years ago before the COVID-19. Anyway, I would recommend this hotel to anyone who comes to Xi'an. A job well done, thanks. Terry Yan

Comfy hotel not far from the centre. It has a nice laundry service, friendly stuff and delicious buffet breakfast. The view could be a little bit better, me and my girlfriend were given a room with a view on a car parking :( but there was a nice activity to write 汉字 and lobby bar. Plus the stuff gave us travel adapters to work on our computer. Super friendly and welcoming. Loved our staying in here.

The skyscraper is very large and beautiful. The rooms are nice and have all the amenities. We were given a free room upgrade. There's a beautiful pool and a gym available. Towels were changed and the bathroom was cleaned every day. Breakfast was a buffet with all kinds of food, with chefs preparing typical Xi'an dishes on the spot. Above all, the staff was very kind, accommodating all our requests and offering us yogurt drinks, desserts, and soups for dinner or a snack completely free of charge. Some of the staff speak English, but with WeChat, you can communicate with a translation tool. I recommend it! Excellent value for money.

Location near to bell tower but need to walk to main road if you take didi, and the reception will not help on this. Clean room but smelly due to humid, cleaner are super helpful but the attitude of these reception (except the young lady in evening shift) are all are “Manxin”, not up to the standard. Overall ok, but you could get better service if you choose other hotels. Also, no gift and room upgrade as shown in reservation, like fake advertising.

Time flies, and twenty-plus years have passed in a blink of an eye. Taking advantage of the holiday, I brought my family back to my alma mater. I randomly booked this hotel nearby, thinking there would be surprises everywhere. In the afternoon, my family was exhausted. When we arrived, we found out that parking was free for guests. The front desk saw we had a child and offered kid-sized slippers. In the morning, when my child didn't want to wake up early, they even sent up some warm congee. The decor has a charming antique style, and it's very clean. There's a security guard on duty in the courtyard, which gives out-of-towners a sense of safety. They even allowed us a late check-out. With such thoughtful owners, this hotel is sure to be a roaring success!

When I traveled to Xi'an, I chose the Xi Tang Inn, and it was an amazing experience! The inn's location is superb, situated in a bustling area with plenty of food options nearby, and it's close to attractions, making getting around super convenient. As soon as I entered, the ancient charm of the decor made me feel like I had traveled back to the Tang Dynasty. From the wooden furniture to the elegant murals, every detail exuded the essence of the Grand Tang era. The room was cozy, the bed was soft and comfortable, and the toiletries were also of good quality. Plus, the inn provided attentive service; the staff were warm and friendly. They not only patiently answered my travel questions but also helped plan my routes, which saved me a lot of hassle during my trip. The price was also very reasonable, offering excellent value for money. During my stay here, I slept soundly every night and woke up feeling refreshed to visit attractions during the day. If you also want to experience the grandeur of the Tang Dynasty during your travels, Xi Tang Inn is a great choice. I highly recommend it to everyone!
