Our family of 5, with 2 adults and 3 children ages 12, 15 and 17 stayed here 3 nights in March of 2024. It was wonderful. We had a family room with 4 beds and one bathroom. The room was clean and the beds extremely comfortable. The host, Javier, is very kind. Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit, avocado, yogurt with toppings, and bread as well as eggs. We also ate our dinners here which were also excellent, including nightly fresh juice mixtures that our children loved. We didn’t venture into Lamay as we were tired from our activities. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Silence, nature , quality in every detail, either in the suoerb small cottages either in the garden, either in the food. The location is great. Next to Urubamba river where you can walk. Very near all the most beautifoul spots of the sacred valley. Love it!! Xavier and his staff are beautifoul humans!❤️

Loved this beautiful hotel in the middle of Peru's wonderful Sacred Valley, the immaculate rooms are set in wonderful gardens, and the breakfast and dinners were delicious. Also the hotel couldn't be more accommodating with help and info as we planned our onward journey. The hotel is also in a perfect location for discovering the incredible Inca ruins in the lovely market town of Pisac which is a short drive away and a great stop off point on your journey to Machu Picchu .

We found Nunu in the new Lonely Planet guide and the high rating was fully deserved. A rough track off the main road leads to a walled oasis with 1/2 acre of beautiful gardens. Private, detached rooms/suites surround the garden looking over lawns and the hills behind. An absolute haven. This was built, run, and for us, hosted by Xavier. All the details are spot on- the design and service coming from someone who totally gets what travellers want. The rooms and main dining/lounge area are stylish, creative and show great attention to detail. They are individually decorated with local antiques and textiles, plants and flowers abound - an absolute pleasure to stay in. We ate simple, well made meals, had log fires and chatted to Xavier - it felt far more like being a house guest than being in a hotel - fabulous. Most of our trip (barring the Nunu bit) was arranged by UK based Audley travel who did a fine job with their local knowledge. They understandably avoid some of the badly regulated local activities so we had booked these ourselves. On the Nunu site recommendations we hiked & climbed through La Base Lamay and we rafted with Munaycha. All the guides were highly professional, with new kit and lots of experience. All would be up to UK standards - the absolute opposite of some the local cheap and cheerful operators. Overall, Nunu was the perfect base for us, for a few days rest and safe adventures in the sacred valley. Can't recommend it highly enough - we would love to return.

My family stayed 3 nights at Nunu while we acclimatized to the altitude and toured sights near the Sacred Valley. When we entered through the gates we were transported to a tranquil hideaway in the beautiful Sacred Valley. Our rooms were spacious, the beds comfortable, and our host was welcoming and accommodating. We had planned to eat out in the area but ended up not wanting to leave the sanctuary and enjoyed delicious meals each evening. It was a wonderful visit! Thank you Javier!
