We had such a good experience at Elephant Jungle Sanctuary Phuket and left feeling genuinely moved. Sky and K were brilliant. Funny, engaging and really knowledgeable. They made the whole day relaxed and enjoyable while clearly caring deeply about the elephants. You can tell it means something to them. The elephants themselves were incredible. All female, ranging in age from 10 to 81, and each with their own personality. Feeding them was amazing, and the mud scrub and bath was something we will never forget. Being that close to such powerful but gentle animals is really special. They take lots of photos for you throughout the experience, which is a lovely touch. At times some of the other guests were a bit pushy and loud, which made it harder to get photos unless you stepped forward confidently. That said, K was excellent at making sure we got a picture and keeping things moving fairly. We did not try the cooking or food, but that was purely because some of the other guests were pushing and shoving and being very loud, which changed the atmosphere for us. It was nothing to do with the timings, the staff or the sanctuary itself. The team handled everything professionally and did their best in a busy group setting. We were so impressed with the work they are doing that we left a 1000 baht tip. Supporting ethical sanctuaries like this feels important. The care and respect shown to the elephants really stood out. Meeting the majestic beautiful animals brought a tear to my eye. Definitely one of the bucket list as elephants are my favourite animal. It was such a fantastic magical experience, getting to spend half the day with them. Starting off with feeding them a snack of fresh fruit getting up close to them. We made protein balls with all of the medicinal ingredients that are good for them. We got to give them a mud scrub followed by washing them off in the pond. Seeing how well these beautiful animals are loved and cared for was amazing. Especially after hearing what they went through before being saved. I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in Phuket. We all absolutely loved it here. It was such a beautiful day, a Christmas day memory that we will all cherish forever.

An unforgettable experience, from the guide- Eddie and his plethora of information, to feeding the elephants and then bathing them. A tour that I would recommend to anyone who visits Phuket.

We are a family of 3 with a 2.5 year old who visited the sanctuary for the half day ‘Watch Me’ experience. It was just us and one other couple lead by Eddie and we thought it was incredible. We started our day by feeding the elephants a breakfast of bananas, watermelon and grass, which was followed by making them elephant sushi balls which contained their medicine. Following this we made tie dyed bandanas that we were able to take home with us, and our daughter even got to make one on her own! Next, we had a delightful experience watching the elephants bathe and were able to shower them off afterwards and spend some time with them. We then learnt about how the elephant poop is recycled to farmers and how 50% is made into paper in a local factory and we were able to watch a part of this process. Next, we made pad Thai for lunch and were also supplied other foods for lunch. Finally, we made the elephants a snack of fruit salad and they came to us to eat their snack before we waved goodbye to our large friendly friends. Before we left we were gifted a tote bag to take home. We learnt a lot about the elephants; their past and their handlers and their gentle nature. We would hands down recommend this experience to everyone! You can do the full day experience and the half day bathe with me experience as well. 90% of ticket prices go to the feeding & looking after the elephant, and the rest goes to the caretakers and staff.

I cannot believe how much we loved this day. Feeding these beautiful animals, then giving them a mud bath, then scrubbing it off whilst lying in a big pond with them. The staff love and care for the elephants beautifully, and give the guests a fantastic experience, along with quite a few laughs, thanks Sky & Max! The day finished off with a fabulous lunch. Recommend, recommend, recommend!!!
