Good location, very very nice people, one has to know how to get there, make sure you contact the hotel before arrival, come with light luggage, perfect rooftop terrace with ghanges views, the rooms are not so comfortable but okay and more or less clean. The breakfast and chai was exceptionally good.

An old-school foreigner-friendly Varanasi hotel. Scrupulously clean and satisfyingly comfortable. Beautiful riverside location, right next to Dashashwamedh Ghat. Friendly owner and staff. I would stay again if given the opportunity.

Comfortable rooms, very nice and helpful staff, beautiful location and views. Rooms are a bit small and it can get loud, but that's to be expected when you're right at the main ghat in Varanasi (just bring some earplugs, and you'll be fine). Highly recommend!

I had the cheapest room here, just a bad and a fan. I just needed for 1 night, and it was perfect for it. Finding the place is a bit tricky, but once I go back for the second time, I remember. The staff is friendly, very helpful. And the view from the rooftop is just simply breathtaking.

We went for the room with the balcony with a view to the river. Not worth the money since you can't go to the tiny balcony due to the monkeys. Not so much of a clean room. Nor bath. We took shower in our flip flop's. No hot water in our bedroom too. No working TV. Good location despite the gloomy alleyways to get to the place. Also a very noisy place. We had to close the door of our neighbor's room, for there were 8 people in there speaking loudly, no matter what time, day or night. You just close your eyes and try to have some rest. But truly, we got what we paid for.
