Love! This was an exceptional stay, loved everything about it! I hope to come back with my kids next time as there is lots of exploring to do. If you don’t know which cabin to book, I’d suggest one of the bay facing cabins to get the full location experience.

The Sage room was cozy, well-lit, and stocked with everything a coffee lover could ask for! I enjoyed the Bluetooth speaker and slept like a baby in the large bed. I appreciate the little details around the properties as well. Looking forward to my next visit!

My daughter lives in Alaska , and chose Salted Roots/Rustic Roots as the location for her wedding. It was perfect. We rented all the Salted Roots cabins and 3 of the mini suites at Rustic Roots for our party of 20 adults and 3 kids. The A frames in particular were gorgeous!!! Super comfy beds, beautifully appointed all around. So great to be so close together, but the cabins seem to be remarkably sound proof- so the after party that went on until 4 am (complete with Northern Lights!!) did not keep us awake in our cabin. The wood fired sauna was adorable. The wedding was held down on the beach. Plenty of benches for all. Even with the near continuous rain, we still got intermittent glorious views. Most of all, Ashley could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Thank you Ashley!!!!! Your rapid responses to all of our needs and queries was deeply appreciated.

We started off our Alaskan bucket list trip in Seward at the Blush cabin. I researched places to stay over a year ago and found this place and fell in love especially with the incredible view. I received an email several months after booking that the property was sold. Thankfully, the new owners honored my reservation. They also updated the unit and made it more incredible. The unit is small but extremely cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. We loved laying in bed, mesmerized by the view of Resurrection Bay and watching sea otters and seals playing and eagles soaring above. If we travel back to this area we will definitely stay again. One of the most memorable stays in our lifetime.

This was an AMAZING place to stay! The views are spectacular. The serene atmosphere is just what we needed. We had two cabins - Blush and Forest. The Blush was the BEST for a family member in a wheelchair. Forest was perfect for 3 people. We loved the community kitchen, local coffee, chocolate, and hot sauce in the room. We walked to Miller’s landing to eat, get coffee, do laundry, and watch the fishing boats come in. This was a place I would come back to. Loved it!
