A beautiful, peaceful spot with wonderful hospitality and delicious breakfasts. Rooms were comfortable and well equipped.

I’ve stayed at Cherry House 3 times now. And decided it’s time to write a review. Winn and David are fabulous. When staying with them you can ask about tours that Winn does. This time she took my husband and I to a Balsamic place where we tasted 25, 50 and 75 yr old balsamic. Cherry house is spotless. Each room has a private bathroom. Comfortable beds. Her breakfasts are something else. Best breakfast I’ve had at an B&B and most hotels. Her cleaning lady comes everyday to clean your bathroom and makes your bed. You can’t go wrong staying at Cherry House. Not to mention what a nice hill town she’s in. Book it now!

An absolutely amazing experience. The house is beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic and Winnie and David are the perfect hosts. The town of Polinago is very cute and the surrounding region is just magical. Highly recommend for a real experience of the Italian countryside. It's such a wonderful alternative to the busy cities.

David and Winnifred are THE BEST hosts! They looked after us royally, even meeting us at the Reggio Emilia train station for the drive to Polinago. They took us to Bologna train station at the end of our stay, too. In between, they gave us a tour of their beautiful district. Cherry House B&B, is so much more than a B&B! It is stylish, comfortable, and quiet. There is a lovely, and quite large, lounge/dining room for guests. We were there in winter, so it was cool outside, but inside was warm and cosy. And in summer, their lovely grounds would be perfect for al fresco dining or just relaxing. Their breakfasts are delicious and served exactly on time. Our room, with ensuite, was spacious and very comfortable - we slept so well! We highly recommend Cherry House B&B.

Fantastic setting, the beautiful town of Polinago is like a fairly tale. Full of character, surrounded by forests and lovely vistas. A truly relaxing experience. David and Winn were very welcoming and generous with their time, and their catering was fantastic - if you want the real-deal Italian experience, this is it!
