Wonderful stay just outside the center – peaceful and welcoming! I had a great stay at Phong Nha Tuan Garden House. It’s in a really nice location—about a 20-minute walk to the cave and close to the center, but far enough from the main street that it’s peaceful and quiet. The rooms are big, clean, and very comfortable. The pool is a huge plus, especially on hot days—it’s perfect for relaxing after exploring the area. The family who runs the place is incredibly welcoming. They serve amazing home-cooked food, and the family dinners in the evening are a special experience—guests from all over the world eating together, sharing stories, and enjoying local dishes. Hung, the host, even came to pick me up at the station, which made everything super easy. Highly recommend staying here if you’re coming to Phong Nha and want a warm, quiet place to relax and feel at home.

I had an amazing stay at this hostel! The family running it is incredibly kind and welcoming, making you feel right at home. I joined the family dinner, which was not only delicious but also a great way to meet other travelers. The rooms are very clean and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. Overall, I highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a warm and friendly atmosphere.

We came for dinner after our driver recommended this spot as it’s his family restaurant. It was a great experience, very cheap prices for food and drinks, great food and good beers. We got the pork noodles and they were yum. Would definitely go again!

The amenities are awesome and the family is super kind and helpful. The family dinner is so yummy and a great opportunity to meet other travelers. I was so pleased they picked me up from the bus stop and took me to my bus a few days later. The breakfast (especially the pancakes) is fantastic and I love that it is included. The only really not important downside is the low water pressure of the shower. Other than that the scooter renting is compared to others quite expensive, but still a good price for European standards. Would go there again!

Hello! Tried leaving you a review on Hostel World but it didn’t work. I’ve written it below instead. Let me know where to post it! This was our best hostel so far. It is family owned and you will get picked up and dropped off. The food here is amazing - best Banh Xeo I have had in Vietnam - and the free breakfast is delicious. We were even given banana pancakes to have on our sleeper bus. Nicest family you will meet with great facilities: pool, snooker table, hammock, nice garden. Don’t miss this one out!
