The central location of the road is a real selling point of this riad. It’s an authentic riad experience I think, but it does not live up to the photos. It was cold and damp at night. The room was very small. The bathroom was really tired looking with intermittent hot water. They obviously have some sort of reciprocal deal going with a nearby Hammam. Don’t go for it, there are others that are far nicer. The ‘pool’ in the riad is unusable. The room was made up every day, but no toiletries replaced. On a couple of occasions we went to the terrace for breakfast within the prescribed hours and there was nobody there. The breakfast was just ok but lacked in quality and variety - bread, cheap nasty olives, cheap jam, omelette, dry cake, cheese triangles. It felt like the owner occasionally remembered that he needed to be personable, but generally he was lacking warmth. He often laid on the couch in the courtyard watching TV until late at night, so we were very conscious of his proximity as our room just had shutters between him and us. I really lost faith when we got home and I realised we’d forgotten to pack some gifts. I was happy to pay postage but he said there was nothing left in the room. We felt swindled. I would not recommend this place unless you’re after somewhere cheap and cheerless in a central location.

Amazing stay, if you want a authentic Marrakesh stay this is the place to go. Location amazing, breakfast was great, plenty of variety, the room was very comfortable and Jamal was always on hand to advise on what to do/where to go. We would definitely return, magical 3 night break

We have been warmly welcomed from the first day we arrived. The rooms are spacious & clean offering small snacks & water & juice from the fridge. Price list is visible. The staff here feel more like family members helping us with anything we need & information. The weird is set back from a busy road. This gives you a peaceful environment so no noise from outside. It’s a beautiful little gem found within Marrakesh. We are also in walking distance to the main square with a 10minute walk away.

Quite simply, a fantastic stay with great staff and facilities. Some local food and was a great trip! Comfy bed, amazing aircon, superb location, lovely dip pool, intimate neighbours, cats galore, rooftop area and just a great stay, thank you!

Truly and excellent stay from beginning to the end. Jamal and Maryam were excellent and so helpful and welcoming, I feel like we had the true Marrakech experience. The riad is quiet, traditional and beautiful.. will definitely recommend to others! Delicious breakfast and Jamal even walked us to Jam el Fna on the first night
