Het positieve aan het hotel is dat je een kamer hebt met een bed en badkamer. - beddengoed was smerig bij aankomst. Niet smerig omdat er vlekje in zat maar te vaak gebruikt. Het matras was doorgelegen. Tweepersoonsmatras ene kant een kuil de andere kant schuin aflopend naar de kuil. - met een groep hier 13 kamers gebruikt. Waarvan er 9 koud water hadden. 3 dagen koud gedoucht. Schimmel op t plafond in de badkamer. - deur kon niet uitzich zelf dicht, dus je moest de sleutel gebruiken of steen voor de deur gebruiken als je even los van elkaar wat ging doen. - airconditioning werkte maar zo intens hard dat het lijkt alsof het apparaat naast je staat. Wat ongeveer het geval was gezien precies buiten bij t hoofdeinde zat. - geen ruimte voor je bagage te laten. Nu de keuken maar gebruikt om koffers neer te leggen maar geen kasten oid of ruimte in de slaapkamer. - erg gehorig, in sommige kamers kon je het gesprek van de buren letterlijk volgen. - het is zoeken naar personeel van de receptie. - ontbijt was karig, maar wel 8 dollar. Kortom ik zou hier echt niet weer boeken.

My stay was absolutely horrible. My room was on the 2nd level and it was so noisy. Their was a group that partied all night and when I told the front desk, they said there was no other rooms and that they would tell the guide to tell the group to quiet down. She said that quiet time was 10 pm, yet reception closes at 10 pm, so basically if they don't quiet down by 10 pm, there is really nothing I can do, but not sleep again. If I would have known it would have been this loud, I would have saved my money and stayed in a hostel. I spent most of my evening sitting at the bar because it was quieter than my room. Very disappointing after reading decent reviews.

We were so excited to stay here in Uvita, then, every morning starting at about 5:30 am, construction started. Every morning on our 3 night stay we were woken to cement masons shoveling gravel into a mixer and pouring concrete and talking loudly. We were never told that there would be construction going on for their addition to their property. I get that the workers want to start early due to the weather; however, before 6 am!!! And, this morning, someone decided to renevate, or do some work in the room beside us in (room 12), just before 6am. T When we went to the office and requested to speak to the manager, we were told they weren't in today. We complained about the noise and the woman and young guy looked at us like we were lying. The woman even laughed at us! It was also unfortunate that we had to carry all our luggage up the stairs on our own(we're two elderly ladies), but the following day, a male employee carried a very fit guy's luggage up the stairs. It's such a shame because the hotel has potential, but this construction will be going on for quite some time yet so if you plan in booking here, I recommend asking if the construction is finished. It's also sad that the staff working on February 22, 2023, didn't take our complaint serious and were actually rude. This customer service will hurt their business. The young lady behind the desk was pleasant however.
