I'll call this 4.5 stars rounded up. I was here for a business trip, so will also mention the aspect of having a meeting at the Russelior. ROOM: I'd give my room 4 stars. It was super comfortable. I was fortunate to have a small balcony, and sat out there almost every day after breakfast to read for a bit before needing to go to work. I requested cleaning several times (not every day), and was very happy with the job they did with that. The bathroom and WC are like what one would find outside of the US -- shower, bath and sink in one place, toilet in the other. I agree with a review I read that the WC is funk because of how the door is placed; it's challenging to close the door. Cons in the room: Lighting is very low, especially in the bathroom. I imagine this is to hide the fact that some upgrades are needed in the bathroom -- but everything worked and was clean. DINING ROOM: There are tons of options at every meal, including authentic Tunisian dishes. Staff: 500 stars. What a lovely group of individuals! Aside from preparing and serving dishes, they taught me a bit of Tunisian every day. I wasn't just greeted politely at each meal, I was treated warmly. They recognized me, and by day 3, I'd come in to breakfast and they knew which table I was making a bee-line for; they'd be ready with coffee the way I like it, etc. Great senses of humor and wonderful service. The food is seafood heavy -- and the staff remembered I have a seafood allergy, so they'd point to the dishes I could have each day. They put a range of salads out as well. RECEPTION/OTHER STAFF: Wonderful. The front desk team was very helpful throughout the week. The hotel was spotless, and we saw people cleaning at all hours of the day. BUSINESS SETUP: We had reliable WiFi the whole week. We used a smaller meeting room, and again, the staff brought everything we needed. Tech was super easy to use. They came to clean when we were on breaks. Overall really good. I didn't experience the spa or the pool -- it was too cold to be outside by the pool, and we were too busy to take advantage of the spa! But if I am able to get back to Tunisia, I think I'd stay here again. [ONE THING: This is about Tunisia, not about this hotel -- but I wasn't prepared for how many people smoke cigarettes here. The hotel rooms are non-smoking, but people smoke on their balconies, as well as outside on the pool level. If you are sensitive to cigarette smoke, I'd recommend you tell reception that when you make a reservation so they can hopefully get you to a room that isn't over a gathering area!

We stayed in this hotel three nights and we were very satisfied with the service we received here. Good sized rooms , huge selection of meals either for breakfast, lunch or dinner. A lot of space on the pool . We had also a flot of fun on the animation afternoon. Would recommend!

Firstly, My partner would like me to express our gratitude to Fekhri who works at the pool bar. He made our holiday so special with his attentiveness and his professional approach. He is a credit to the hotel. Animation team really good and remember your names. Tete, Bobo, Su su involved us in games and card tricks and Tete left me mesmerised. No matter who you met, from reception, restaurant, animation team, cleaners/maids, garden/grounds maintenance and bar staff, you always received a smile and a chat. 😁 Fabulous holiday and lots of lovely memories. We both liked Hammemet Yasmine area of Tunisia. The Averroes didn't disappoint and exceeded our expectations. Pirate ship was great fun and so glad we booked with Sammia near the marina. (next to the little water and ice cream kiosk on the sea side of the road) Lovely guy and not pushy. Price was much cheaper than booking at the hotel. Few tips: make sure you have lots of very high factor suncream. Don't rely on buying it there as it's not very good especially the sun milk. Don't change more money than you need in resort, because to our dismay, you can't spend it in the airport! Oh and don't buy their airport food it's expensive and inedible. Take meds for anti diarrhea as most people were affected. Hotel spotless and food good so no detriment. The heat of high 40's and climate most likely the cause. If travelling with easyjet the only point of contact is on a small plastic board near reception. Phone number and QR code. You get a text the day before departure informing you of the pick up time. We love Tunisia and it's people and would return to a different region to explore 🌞♥️🐫 We never return to the same hotel but this is one of our favourite ones.

It was our worst stay. The beds were torn and dirty, dust and dirt everywhere. There was mold in the bathroom. The toilet leaked, our air conditioner also leaked. The amateur repairman repaired it by turning it off, which was really great at 35 degrees. The behavior of the staff didn't help. They already wrote in the arrival forms that we are of Russian nationality, we are Czechs. We discovered this by accident while exchanging money at the reception. After the warning, there was zero apology, rather they were having fun with it, and on top of that, the annoying team of would-be animators shouted provocatively at us in Russian. Food disgusting. Small selection, no taste even if you have all-in, so drinks for breakfast are 2 chemical juices, 1 watermelon juice, 1 tap water. For lunch and dinner you have to ask for it, and the staff walks between you and pours when you want a second glass, they are annoying. 2dcl glasses and cups are ready for all drinks. The sea is beautiful, but the beach is not maintained and dirty. After finding the glass in the sand and alerting the staff, we were told ”it was a tsunami”. In the beach bar, you pay extra for everything except basic drinks. The pools were also not maintained. Avoid this hotel, it's a waste of money.

大型酒店位於哈馬馬特（Hammamet）海岸，孩子們充分利用了溫水游泳池，晚上在游泳池周圍和室內都享受着很棒的娛樂，食物很好，但是工作人員不是很開朗，不是很熱情好客，沒有空房，那些讓您想入睡的房間和牀上用品，來自千年的電視和沒有浴室的浴室 類別為4 *，需要進行翻新。

Hasdrubal Thalassa & Spa Yasmine Hammamet indeed is one of the best hotels in Hammamet. We were greeted with lovely flowers and refreshing lemonade on arrival. The staff here is literally the best! Our suite was huge, me and my friend had separate bedrooms with a private balcony and even private bathrooms and toilets and we shared a gorgeous living room with another terrace with a lovely view to the Mediterannean. The food here was delicious, we loved the iftar experience at one of their restaurants. But the best part was the SPA experience. We had the best massages and procedures here. We took their signature procedure and it was totally worth it! Can't recommend it enough!
