In the old Bund City Hall from 1922, I bumped into Dali's soft clocks! 🕰️ The 150+ original pieces were breathtaking! Melted clocks hung from branches like soft, creamy cheese, slender-legged cosmic elephants carried pyramids, and there was "Lady Godiva and the Butterfly," making its first appearance in China, with butterfly wings on glass shimmering with fragile light. My favorite was "The Snail and the Angel," where a slow-moving snail carries an angel through the air—Dali was truly saying: even if you go slow, you can still get closer to the light! 🌟 The old buildings themselves are works of art! Spiral staircases, stained-glass windows—at sunset, the sunlight streaming through the arched windows onto "The Dance of Time" creates a play of light and shadow with the soft clocks, making photos instantly surreal. 📸 "The Rhinoceros in Lace" on the 4th floor is a must-see; a bronze shell encased in soft lace—the contrast is charming yet philosophical. And I was completely captivated by the Red Lips Salon!
