#NovemberDestinations2025 Today I visited Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street in Shanghai, and I was truly awestruck by the aura of this "Magic City"! It truly lives up to its reputation as China's premier commercial street; everywhere you look are enormous neon signs and department stores, the mix of old and new architecture is incredibly stylish. The cutest thing is that retro "ding-ding" tram, weaving through the crowds—it's super eye-catching, every snapshot looks like a scene from a movie! 🎬 Although it was incredibly crowded, the lively atmosphere was really exhilarating. Strolling slowly to the Bund to see the night view is an absolute must-do in Shanghai; you can't say you've truly experienced Shanghai if you haven't been here! ⸻ 📝Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street Shopping Guide (Super Useful!) • 🚇 Subway Route: I recommend taking the subway to "People's Square Station," then walking east until you reach "Nanjing East Road Station," which connects to the Bund. • 🚃 Must-ride the Ding Ding Tram: That toy-like little train (sightseeing tram) is incredibly relaxing to take after a long walk, and it's also a fantastic photo opportunity. • 🏙️ Best time to visit: Highly recommend visiting in the late afternoon or evening! The neon lights truly bring out the soul of Nanjing Road. • 🍡 Must-try traditional shops: If you pass by "Shen Da Cheng," be sure to buy some qingtuan (green glutinous rice dumplings) or tiaotougao (sticky rice cakes). The chewy texture is absolutely amazing! • 🍫 Must-visit landmarks: The M&M's flagship store and the LEGO flagship store are both located here. The interiors are incredibly extravagant; you absolutely must go in and browse. This place is so vibrant and bustling, and if you want to experience the charm of Shanghai and go on a shopping spree, you can't miss it! 🌆🛍️✨
