Budget Choice of Samal Island 🏝️ Resort Next to Ferry Terminal. It is a convenient resort just in case you don’t mind obsolete facilities with full toilet smell in guest rooms. It is a mid-size beach resort, but sea water a bit oily and polluted due to busy marine activities. A guest room is spacious, with double size bed but there is not hard to find cockroaches somewhere, particularly night time. No plain water, coffee, soap, toothbrush, water heater, hair dryer and toilet paper, TV doesn’t work. I guess the management cuts budget cost to make the business survives. After booked through Agoda, we noticed that there is a travel scam since $2500 peso one night without 2x breakfasts, and have to pay extra $700 peso for 2x breakfasts. If you walk in there, there is a big banner showing that the “promo” price is $1800 peso with 2x breakfasts. Oh my god😩😢🥹

I mostly spent weekends in this resort. By far it’s the most convenient and accessible resort for a weekend getaway to rest and relax with my family. It’s just a 15 minute ferry ride crossing the island of Samal (IGACOS). They have good amenities and cheap order of food at the Resto. Though the place is not much of a fancy but we’re comfortable. It has always been our place to go to.y

The place is well maintained and they have accomodations for any tourists. The food restaurant inside offers fine dining and food is great. They also have recreational area like playground for kids and pool billiard table for the adults. They also have function hall where you can celebrate any special occasions. But the beach had seeweeds everywhere and it is not recommended for the kids because the ferry boat is nearby which can leak oils and harm sensitive skin.

The Camp Holiday Resort is a lovely place to stay. Due to the room's complete security and its handy location in the Babak neighborhood, it is extremely secure to stay there. The staff are very accommodating and friendly.
