Very clean room, attentive staff, good facilities, nice breakfast. The perfect place to return to after a long day hiking.

Staff very kind and helpful with trails / weather. Good breakfasts. Room had tall ceilings, hot water heater, good bath, no TV. Decor was beautiful. Lunch boxes for the trails were worth every peso.

Stayed here with friends during a hike around El Chalten's national park. I wish we had more days to spend in this village to truly relax as not only the town but also the hosteria inspires long stays relaxing by the fire or in one of the tasteful and spacious rooms. The staff is beyond helpful and welcoming. I was unlucky to have my luggage lost by my airline upon arriving in El Calafate, and El Puma's staff went out of their way to assist with phone calls and arranging the delivery of my suitcase while I was out on my hike. I would strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

We stayed here for our honeymoon and did some trekking in El Chalten. It is a fantastic place to stay, with nice rooms at a reasonable price and good breakfast. We most enjoyed wine by the fire place after a day of trekking. The staff here (Cintia, Soledad and Thea) are fantastic and very kind and made our honeymoon extra special (thank you!). Would highly recommend!!

We really enjoyed our stay here! It is right off the Main Street so it’s not noisy but still very close to everything. The hotel is decorated like a beautiful lodge and the rooms are very cozy. There is a beautiful lounge area with a fireplace to relax in the evenings. The rooms have brick walls and decorated in a nice rustic style. The reception is always really helpful. They helped call our bus company and made several recommendations for us. It was our anniversary and they left us a very nice wine as a gift. It was so sweet! There is a warm rack for towels in the bathroom which was SOOO nice. The breakfast was really delicious! They even had homemade jams and yogurt that made it extra special! The WiFi is not the best in the rooms but we could still connect and you can also come sit in the beautiful lounge to use a good connection.
