Excellent location near to Hora’s cafes and castle but peaceful with beautiful views across the bay. We had the suite which gave us additional space both inside and outside. Selena could not do enough for us. The pool area is a small, but we had it to ourselves every day which was ideal. Overall we were very pleased with our choice.

Getting to Astypalaia is not an easy task but this boutique hotel is great! Incredible view and hospitality, great room and balcony, close to the castle and everything you need and so calm. It's ideal for a total restart, mentally and physically (for solo travelers, couples & small families). As it is amphitheatrically built, prepare yourself for some stairs, but don't worry about the luggages. The people of Killindra are there to help you with anything you need, including all the info about Astypalaia and the best ways to make the most of the island during your stay. I enjoyed it so much!

This hotel is a slice of paradise. It is perfectly tranquil and beautifully positioned on the hillside of Chora overlooking the sea. The rooms are delightful and well appointed, and the poolside terrace is a wonderful place to while away enjoyable hours in the warm sunshine. On top of all that, the Hotel Manager, Selana, is lovingly attentive and ensures her guests' stays are as perfect as they can be, and nothing appears too much trouble for her.

Fantastic hospitality, cosy studio, great location with breathtaking view, walking distance to beach, very pleasant pool area and kind and friendly host and staff. Did I forget to mention the breakfast ? Just perfect overall! Ioannis and staff do everything to make you feel like home.

First thing we noticed when we booked, as well as on arrival, was the astonishing view. We really enjoyed the pool terrace and the fact that the hotel was walking distance from Chora. Other than that, we didn't think it was worth the cost. The room felt more like a poor taste exhibition of unrelated furniture and ornaments than a genuine representation of a Cycladic or Dodekanese house -and we have visited quite a few over the years in Greece. The space was so crowded that it felt depressive and we agreed that in general it lacked elegance and grace. The bathroom also needed a serious rennovation. Breakfast was not great either. We were surprised that it did not include any boiled eggs or even fresh fruit most of the time, just bread, jam, cheese and maybe cake or something similar. Had we known, we would have skipped the extra charge and chosen to enjoy coffee and local specialties in Chora. Cleaning was ok, towels and bedsheets were regularly changed. The staff was ok too. Overall, a very mediocre experience, especially for the cost. We would not recommend it. Astypalaia is of rare and unspoiled beauty! We would definitely visit again.
